it looks like fuse 23, 28, and 29 from the BCMC/BJB all power the ABS module. a different fuse in the BCM controls the parking brake switch. however, it looks like the ABS module powers the electronic parking brake, meaning that you likely lose parking brake abilities if you remove power from...
what are you using for your source of pictures? im using PTS/OASIS
here is what it says the colors mean
the camera brings up a video showing how the workshop manual works, and the question mark brings up an entire page of the details on how the workshop manual works
you are only supposed to hold the brake when starting the line lock. if you held the brake and accelerator at the same time, you triggered a safety feature called "Brake Over Accelerator", which is intended to help in the unlikely event the accelerator gets stuck on. like the message said, it...
on all automatic Mustangs plus the Dark Horse with the Tremec TR-3160, there is an auxiliary transmission fluid cooler in the stack of heat exchangers in front of the engine. manual GTs do not have this
converted my old hackjob of T taps into a series of proper wiring harnesses. also tested out de-soldering and re-soldering the little LED in the fiber optic light thing. ended up working perfectly, but i found a small issue with the resistor values. a guy named Ryan Gabaldon on YouTube said that...
nope, the warranty is 3 years and/or 36,000 miles from the vehicle's original purchase date and mileage. probably to prevent someone from putting one on an old, worn-out engine to get a free replacement when the extra power from the supercharger kills the worn-out engine
there is absolutely no way your vehicle came without a TPMS sensor. the guy probably broke it, those things are rather fragile. if you were missing a TPMS sensor, you would've known the second you took delivery. in my over a year of checking in new vehicles (probably totaling close to the...
i was not able to test the cupholder i got today, started late and mainly focused on organizing all the electrical stuff i got over the past week. i also tried soldering for the first time and i think i did pretty well
tested my soldering on the connector for this MyColor LED, tomorrow i will...
that might have been me. i went to a junkyard and salvaged 6 MyColor LEDs from some wrecked Mustangs, then modified one, drilled a 1/2 inch hole in the plastic above the wireless charger pad and hot glued it in place. this is the result, combined with the cupholder lighting
here is where i...
i found an interesting quirk tonight. i dont know if this is exclusive to the automatic transmission, but in 6th gear there seems to be a premature fuel cutoff around 6950RPM/121MPH. its pretty jarring because 1st through 5th has no such thing, and when you're hitting those 7500RPM upshifts...
an update for those watching this thread, i checked and tested on my Mustang various differences in GK292's BCM, BCMB, BCMC, HCM, LDCMA, and LDCMB, but nothing seemed to recreate the issue. they also mentioned the indicator being laggy and not smooth. i ran out of possible ideas
this seems to have gone under the radar, but Ford massively improved the GTD page on their site sometime recently.
https://www.ford.com/performance/mustang-gtd
here is what i have managed to find there plus the ford media site
- top speed of 190mph or more
- 7550RPM redline
- what looks like a...
turns out i grabbed the wrong cupholder part. this weekend i will still see if the one i got works, but the correct F-150 part number is actually ML3Z-1513562-CB
yeah, i can only really imagine someone doing it if they have tons of money and time to burn, have no interest in a warranty, and for some reason are dead set on keeping their current Mustang. the good thing is you can still do the brembos without the drift brake
