I'd like to know how much differences there are tuning the S650 vs S550
Because you can "buy a tune" right now, but when do you get it? And how complete will it be? The top speed limiter was going to be an 'update' from HPtuners right? Are tuners going to work ont here for a week or a month...
Does it really turn that up to full power in the first few gears? They're on stock tires even with the front wheels being on battery.
What does a Mustang that say traps 140 do a 60-130 at compared to a ZR1? High to mid 5's?
ZR1 supposed did 4.49? That would be a bloodbath from a roll
Livernois got 15hp on a GT
There may be more as they learn the ins and outs but that's about right for a pump gas tune
Sure there are also transmission enhancements as well as tricks like the throttle sensitivity or whatever you want to call it. But $800-900 for 15hp? And possibly voiding...
When you fill back up with 93/91 (and that's mostly what you have in the tank), load the 93 tune
When you fill back up with e85 (and you only have a couple gallons of 93 or whatever) load the e85 tune
I mean if you really want you can run the car for a couple minutes to clear the lines out...
What are you comparing, exactly?
I'm guessing whatever you are buying from Lethal includes a tune for your car where the HP tuners is just the device+credits.
Livernois only got 15hp out of a GT tune
We should see some small gains as time goes on
But this will also show how good some tuners are now that they have to start from scratch and not other tuners files that have been copied and passed around for years
Only gained 12mph?
"800hp" but runs the same mph as the 700hp, 500lb heavier Hellcat they tested.
I expected it to go 130 on pump gas
$5,000 install!??
Find the right dealer. Granger is already offering 4% below invoice if you order a 2026 from them (thread in this very forum)
If you pay anywhere near MSRP for a car from the big three you're a friggin' idiot.

So learning to take cool down laps is must. Ive done two track days and NJMP lighting and got coolant overtemp warning both days.
It's funny how some guys say they run a supercharger on the track with no issues and then you have guys overheating the stock PP2 cars....
