Thats a matter of opinion. Its always about 50/50 of people that are for/against them. At the end of the day its just a simple mod that isn't going to do much so take it or leave it.
I wouldnt say they are a scam. I've used them on other cars and felt a little better throttle response. But to each their own. I haven't bought them for the mustang yet though. If you are itching for a mod, they are cheap enough to scratch that itch. Rather buy them than cold air intakes for...
Non oiled high flow air filters is the way to go but I do like the see through air boxes that come with some CAI kits. They just arent worth the price tag.
AI has its place but for now its ruined a lot of the world. Nobody wants to think anymore, they would rather just ask AI to do it for them (chat gtp) and a lot of tech companies are replacing humans with AI. I know its the inevitable future though and im not convinced thats a good thing.
Things happen, the car shutting off may be the auto stop-start feature? The windshield cracking is just bad luck. As long as the dealer fixes the issues it will be a great car.
Its like eating Ramen noodles vs having a steak for dinner if both are available. Just go with the higher quality food. Same goes with gas in your muscle car/sports car. Give the new engine the best gas and it will be much happier even if you dont notice it.
It would probably be really fast modified (tuning). I've heard mixed reviews about the reliability of the engines though. I like the truck though personally
Just get a good set of high flow filters and be done with it, it doesn't change the appearance but it'll run good and you'll save money. Hopefully you get the issue resolved!
