I drove my car today (24 GT auto) a good bit after installing my tune (93 octane) from pbd and its definitely a little quicker. The throttle response is better along with improved shifting. I have to send data logs in and will likely get a revised tune so I may get a few more hp yet. My next...
When i had a 2020 ecoboost tuned a while back it had full bolt ons minus a cat back exhaust (4 cyl didnt sound good) and it was very fun to whip around in. Hopefully they release a tune for yall soon!
My modified 2020 ecoboost was fun as hell but I definitely wouldnt choose it over my 2024 GT but to each their own. Truthfully I'd like to own both (not stock) though! I do miss the turbo sounds and quick acceleration but it wasnt even as fast modified as the GT is stock. Off the line it was but...
Is a tune on a stock car worth $900....not really but you gotta pay to play and start somewhere. Horsepower is expensive. People out there are buying way more dumb things for their cars for hundreds of dollars. The car stock leaves a lot to be desired so I don't mind spending the money.
It always blows my mind when people say a tune won't do much for a stock NA car. I've had a few cars tuned in my life and I've always felt a difference. 15-20whp on a stock car is noticeable....its just a starting point until you add more mods.
Im waiting on a tune, supposed to be shipped out next week. I think its worth it. It will make the car a little quicker and just more fun to drive. They are pretty boring after a while with the stock tune.
Ofcourse you arent going to get a lot of gains with a bone stock car (Naturally aspirated as well)?! Like duh people. Add some headers, e85 etc and go from there. Also, most of you will spend $500 plus on a cold air intake or hundreds on a spoiler.....talk about things that arent worth it 🤣
