Personally, whomever came up with the chime (if you could call it that) was clever. The tum-tum-tum, sped up, sound just like the sounds of a horse galloping.

This link should work... Select the third sound down.
Holy moly Batman, as Robin would say! At that price, someone will surely step up to the plate!
The pricing sort of reminds me of the audioholics who pay $500 for a 3 foot power cord, then swear it makes a difference!
I also would like to know the shipping costs?
Considering the monies I might make if I still had my old vacuum molding table, perhaps I should look around for one. The hardest part is making the actual mold. Just think. Left and right covers made from clear acrylic. Or perhaps body colored ones if you could find the material.
I don't own a GT, but I have to assume the main reason for the wheel hop is the sudden application of torque (popping the clutch in other words). I can't say I've even seen a 10R80 do it, but they might depending on the launch practice.
Smurf is correct! The ONLY way to completely disable it, is to remove the dyno plug. That's not such a good idea, because if you forget to plug it back in, you won't have ANY safety controls. One might complain about that, but it is best to think before you leap.
Perhaps there should be another open thread about using or not using traction and/or stability controls?
When my Eco-Boost was delivered, it had 283 miles on the OD (dealer to dealer driven), so I wasn’t worried about pushing it hard. It didn’t take long to figure out that turning off the...
According to one internet site, the average speed on the Autobahn is 135 kPH or about 80 MPH.
Speaking only for myself, I won't drive over 80 MPH on the highway even in Texas where that limit is often ignored. It is a combination of alertness (sign of danger vs. reaction time), stopping...
My Eco-Boost is dead stock without any add-on spoilers. So far, I haven't damaged anything under the car. I hope it stays that way.
As a sidelight: My 2019 Ranger rides quieter with a whole lot less road noise than my 2024 Eco-Boost Mustang. In fact, if there was only one thing I don't like...
Recently, just in passing, I made mention that my new WeatherTech floor mats 'at least fit', with a reference to my 2019 Ranger's mats that never did! My comment caught the eye of WeatherTech's Customer Relations department. With out a lot of superfluous verbiage, they replaced the front mats...
I think one of the biggest issues about EVs is their insurance costs. Fact is, some insurers will not cover losses if they're parked inside a structure. Even when they do cover them, the price is extraordinarily high, as in only Elon can afford the cost!
