I can see it now. Charger (really?) running from the police, when all of a sudden, the whole thing blows up in a ball of toxic fumes. Boy that'll make for a good YouTube vid!
That's what you get when you take your hands off the steering wheel at speeds over 70 mph. Of course, mine does that and the one about grabbing the steering wheel as well. Sometimes it does that, sitting still. Maybe it is because my hands are clammy, and it thinks I'm dead!
My 2019 Ranger makes weird noises too, but I'm used to such things. I have five rooms in my house which use Occupancy Detectors to turn on the lights if the ambient light is too low (dressing room, laundry, etc.).
I suspect if we knew the number of PICs used in a Mustang, we might be surprised. In fact, the last time I was looking for one to fill a design niche, there were over 100 listings of them. No surprise!
With some fear of reprisal...
All of this reminds me of the 1972 book, The Joy of Sex, by Alex Comfort. There was a whole lot of negative comments when it was first published, but it sold like hotcakes! Interestingly enough, it spawned a myriad of me-too books, none of which were even close in...
As I think about this spat of bad pubes (yes, I meant it!), it occurs to me, that the fall of Jaguar and Land Rover started just after Ford dumped them, and Tata Motors bought them. I really don't think it is the East Indian ownership, but rather that they were already well into a bad management...
My personal take.
The HP and/or torque increases quoted by K&N and others are very hard to believe or even justify the cost for whatever gain they may give. The same goes for cat back exhaust systems save for the increase in loudness. However, once you get into tuning, especially forced air...
Hum. Mine seems to go on when I open the door. I'll have to turn off the motion detected garage light to check, as it might go on as soon as I walk up to the car?
I want to see the dyno numbers before I'd even consider buying one, even if it did fit the 2024/2025. I 'might' believe 1 or 2 increase of each, but would still want to see the dyno graphs.
I never had a set of Recaro seats, but I once had a set of Litton Industries in my 1983 XR7 Mercury. Everything was adjustable, and yes they felt good, almost lulling you to sleep on long trips. But getting in and out was a chore because of the side bolsters. I can't imagine getting in and out...
I wish everyone were taught in high school the art of gimmickry! As a society, we'd all be better off. Nowadays, it seems like anyone can say anything about anyone as long as you don't slander them! I suspect you can even do that, as long as the piece has a bunch of fine print like those...
Adding insult to injury.....
If one were to pay attention to a smattering of YouTube videos, you'd believe GM is coming out with a half dozen new cars, all using a version of the Corvette's LT6 ICE. Of course, you'd also know Dolly Parton and half of Hollywood died just yesterday!
These...
A little over a month ago, we had a major flood. The current total cost (estimated I'm sure) is $2.5 billion! The Ford dealer is just south of the Spring river, and sits on one of the lowest points in Roswell. They lost about 25 new vehicles including two Mustangs, and a bunch of used ones as...
