Hello my name is Tim Reeves and I have been reading this forum for years now but this is my first post…I wanted to get some opinions from other Mustang Owners. I just custom ordered a 2025 GT 10 speed with the performance pack. This build is going to be done soon as I receive it next year. This is my build….
Whipple Gen6 stage 2, Kooks 1 7/8 hi flow catted long tubes, Corsa double h-pipe, Flowmasrer outlaws, Steeda lowering springs, SVE MHP1 wheels 11” rear 1O” front wrapped in Michelin Pilot 4s tires.
315’s rear 305’s front. My question is the exhaust. On my previous pp2 I had the Corsa extreme double x pipe very good exhaust just to raspy for my tastes.
have narrowed down my exhaust choices to
3” Steeda cat-back w/h-pipe
Full 3” kooks cat-back w/h-pipe
Corsa Double H-pipe / Flowmaster Outlaws
Mbrp race axel backs ( will be paired with the Corsa double h )
AWE race axel backs also paired with the Corsa double hpipe
These systems have the deep throaty note that I am looking for, keeping in mind that YouTube really does not do exhaust systems justice. You really need to hear them in person. Just seeing if anyone is close to my setup so I can see if they like it or if itwas just to obnoxious.
Lot of money for this build but I wanna get it right the first time. Any feedback would be appreciated…thanks

Yeah I’m close to what you’re planning, I would change some of the exhaust components, but that’s a personal choice, I prefer quiet and power.

I had O/R LT's and the full 3" DroneMaster Outlaw catback on my 2018 and had it sounding very good right before it was killed.

Outlaws drone like a MF so I welded in a pair of 2.5in bottle mufflers as a Helmholtz resonator and that killed the drone.

I also swapped out the Outlaw X-pipe section with an H and added a couple Vibrant 3" mid-mount bottle resonators to drop the volume some as it was stoopid loud without them.

That setup had the deep tone exhaust note of a 2v and none of the rasp that a Yote is famous for.

You mentioned Corsa with different layouts and photos several times, so I'm confused?

I had a full Corsa Extreme double x on my previous 2019 PP2. I mentioned Corsa again as a plan on using their double H mid pipe. I posted systems that I narrowed my pick down to. I am glad someone mentioned the outlaws have a really bad drone now I know to eliminate them.
