Video: KOOKS Headers & AWE Exhaust -- Cold Start and Revs Sound

This video sound does not do this exhaust setup the justice it deserves. You could not have a conversation behind the vehicle until the exhaust quieted down. The revs literally tickled my eardrums. It’s loud. With the valves closed it’s more tame and sounds similar to the stock valves open volume but deeper in tone.

seems to be a body of mustang enthusiasts out there hailing this combination of LTH and catback setup as the universal 'best' aftermarket sound. It certainly sounds fantastic.

i wonder if it would still sound as excellent for those of us with no plans of introducing forced induction

the CEL/emissions passing situation frightens me just enough to not pull the trigger on any of this.

I chose the catless because of the supercharger issues associated with melting them under hard use or over time. I chose the AWE kit for its reputation and it tames the rasp that is created by removing the cats.

And you live in a state that doesnt require emissions testing?

I would have to opt for the 'green' cats version so an emissions place can physically see them if they went looking.......and then on top of that get those bigdaddy mini cats as additional precautionary. even with both in place i hear rumors you can still throw the CEL. major drag. id love your sound!
