  2. EZ Pass / Smart Tag Location

Dash cams are ugly from the outside as well, but in case of a crash they're indispensable. The Pass gadget is just convenient.
  3. How do you guys lock your Mustang?

There is a scenario where you can push the big red button without the brake on. If you try to leave the vehicle in this condition, a warning pops up, and the horn honks. Unfortunately, the alarm and horn doesn't always work for whatever reason. The only way you can tell, is to try and lock the...

Without doubt, the biggest issue drivers face is distraction. There are a variety of devices which add their share to distraction, not the least of which are the toy-like display screens we all stare at from time to time. I mentioned previously the now defunct seat belt anti-start scenario. It...
  5. Unreal depreciation

Explain this to me! My 2024 Eco-Boost Premium is ≈150 days old. It has under 1,100 miles on the OD. The only "upgrade" I've done is mud flaps. I looked the vehicle up on three web sites (KBB et. al.), and searched for the same vehicle used (CarMax et. al.). I found 4 but no white ones. All...

If memory serves, it was 1975 when those darn seat belt interlocks wouldn't even let you back out of the garage to wash your car! What a drag. I think every car owner wanted to slay the idiot who dreamt them up. Auto stop/start must be the guy's son!

I went and looked. The switch is what I said it was, albeit having International symbols on it instead of on off etc. In the back of the manual (bottom since they're text) is a list of these symbols. And they are there!! I take it back. They start on page 18.

The reason you don't hear knocks is simply the fact the engine is equipped with knock sensors. After all, that is the exact reason they're used. When knock is detected, the EEC reduces ignition timing, which in turn reduces power. That is the main reason we buy these cars! From the Owners...
  12. Any idea where this plastic cap is from?

I'm beginning to think some folks on the line do things just to irritate owners? It is the ones on the garage floor I worry about!!

Volcanos are a big contributor, but so is Lake Kivu in Rwanda, Africa. Fact is, one of its sister lakes went topsy-turvy and killed a few thousand people. Lake Kivu's power plant, called Kivuwatt, uses methane extracted from the depths of the lake. You might want to read this, even though it...
  15. Shelby Mustang Shop Video

Actually there are more than just one video, as I've watched two different ones. I mentioned some months ago, about going on an automobile plant tour if you get a chance. Doesn't make any difference what make, it'll give you a whole new view of the process. It certainly is not ole Henry's...
  16. 89Trooper's Garage - Modification Journal

Is there a reason Mustang drivers need to jack up their cars to the point they require jack rails under it? I just hope it isn't for the same reason my neighbor jacks up his CTS-V? ....to wash the insides of the wheel rims? Talk about OCD!
  17. 87 Octane

Yes do not use anything but top grade! Especially so if you had an Eco-Boost instead of a GT!
  18. Anti Rust Protection under carriage

You can have undercoating done everywhere in the US. Nowadays, all cars are zinc coated under the paint, so the necessity of undercoating is lessened.
  19. Auto stop start on a 2025 GT premium.

Where did your data come from?
  20. Anti Rust Protection under carriage

I might see the need for extra protection due in part to the salt air they endure during shipping. I wonder about Dubai, however, as everything there is nothing but sand.
