Snow? What's that? Roswell, is fun and games, and you never know what you're going to get. So far this year, we've had zero snow, little rain, temps in the hight 50°s to almost 80° since September. Lows have dipped down as the mid 20°s, so why would you winterize a car here? Makes no sense.
A good driver in an average car can handle upwards of 800 HP. A poor driver can't handle 300 HP is an excellent car. The needed attribute is skill. Not many have it with respect to driving a car hard. The rest? They end up in YouTube videos.
Even if you turn off both traction and stability controls, the 'system' is still lurking. You can completely disable them by unplugging the Dyno plug atop the left inner fender.
Say in the last few years, I don't know of anyone who has done a concerted effort to get exact dyno figures with respect to individual add on parts and/or combination of parts. It certainly would make sense, that a larger turbo might require larger pipes to get the full potential from the bigger...
The fall off is indeed true in all modes except Drag mode, where the overboots lasts a bit longer. The evidence are the RPM shift points.
Few drivers give credit to the engineers who program the enjoyment into the vehicles we drive. Even fewer drivers ever get to talk with these same...
No. Most (driver's airbag) inflate like a donut and are about 32 to 35 inches in diameter. There are no 'cutouts' for your arms. What occurs depends a lot on how good your grip is, when your brain tenses up your muscles due to impending doom as it were. Few drivers actually relax and let things...
As you may know, the 2024 is locked down, and so far no one has busted the code. That shouldn't keep the after-market folks from making pipes and other stuff, but so far, nada.
My 2019 Ranger is tuned, piped and a few other goodies. It is only about .2 seconds slower to 60 than the stock 2024...
These days, gasoline has oxygenators added (ethanol and/or MTBE) which extract more energy from the gasoline. The result, more BTUs from the burning thereof.
We're in the fuzz at this point.
These things hurt gear heads, but it is reality: One, if you want to go fast, higher octane is needed due to the energy contained there in. And number two are automatics! They can shift in less time than humans can even grasp the need to do so.
Yes, but I'm of the opinion their availability is waning. As the numbers dwindle (and they are by any measure), manufacturers will cease supplying them at any cost.
I must be an offspring of Rodney Dangerfield: I get no respect! I say this, because I drive a 2024 Eco-Boost! There are no real performance parts available. Except that is, for some bolt-on gadgets like cat back exhaust parts and at least three companies offering CAIs. None of these add-ons...
Read the fine print. The manual says is so many words, the performance figures (horsepower and torque) are based on using regular gasoline (87 octane?). Some Ford (and car mags) literature state higher figures when using premium. Since 90% of the Mustang drivers are gear heads, smirking about...
I received a Recall Notice yesterday about this issue. In my case, the display has never hiccuped. That said, a better job of CGI is, however, needed. The word I use is.... Quirky!
Technically speaking, if you're driving s 10R80 in manual mode, you're manually shifting. As I've mentioned before, the days of rowing your own are coming to a close. A certain percentage of drivers won't like that fact, but there it is.
The Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act covers add-ons like the H pipe. It should be required reading of every car enthusiast.

I think I mentioned this before, but.... I have a Rexing V1P with rear cam. This is the 5th one I've purchased from them for the various vehicles in the last 5 years or so. Never ever an issue with any of them. Oh! Mine is also powered from the mirrors USB Port (5 VDC).
It was offered first on the Imperial only, and a couple of years later a few other models. One of my customers (at the time) had an Imperial, and as I recall it was circa 1973?
I had a 1970 340 Duster, and of course the only real RPO worth getting was the HD suspension, and the 340 came with...
