I wouldnt say you're wrong, but you dont (shouldnt) just pull these cars off the showroom floor and place them in an endurance race in the summer heat with no prep. Lol with tuning, we can change the ECT parameters for the rad fan to come on sooner, and faster RPMs than stock. We can force...
I think Ive said this in this thread before, but I turn off the S/S in the tune when I do them for people and its been a god send. So glad we got that option to kill it for real.
The major software recall was for whipple to build in a mechanism to allow the throttle body to snap closed in the event of a power failure allowing the engine to stop and not continue to accelerate when you have no control.
this has no bearing on your issue. Trust me when I say it’s not a...
No that’s not the case at all. You likely have a bad drivers side wideband o2. I’ve seen several whipple tunes for these and tuned several and there are no fueling issues with their tunes. The widebands independently measure on either side. You likely do have a mechanical issue or that bad...
What trouble? Tuning? We can tune them now and there is a lot of improvement that can be made on the whipple tune. We don’t have to adhere to fords standards like they do.
I would just stick with 5w30 for NA and move up to 5w50 for Boost. Everyone does it and either way it wont be an issue. And for the record, I have ran 5w50 on my NA cars and it eliminates the bbq tick. Also Ceratec with 5w30 does as well.
Mine is being held at ESS. I’m out of the country and it would have showed up while I was away. I have two others I know of getting them any day now.
Its been rock steady for months and months. Make sure you arent connected to your car's bluetooth with your phone and you need strong wireless on your phone.
Yeah no doubt. Dan(P1) is running it on his personal cars as well. I haven't wanted to try it yet because it was bricking just about every car they put in on including his. But they got that part sorted. The issue now I see is the translation of our HP Tuners tunes to PCM tec. There is no...
Problem you have now is since its factory turbo charged, Burger motorsports has a JB4 piggyback system for it now. RIP all other cars. For those of you that dont know what a JB4 is, its a simple box that you plug inline with a few sensors. They use factory harness plugs and it might take you...
TC can force early shifts so on the shift it might have skipped to catch traction. I see this NA on the 2-3 where it will skip 3 and go to 4 on hard pulls with TC on.
Skip everything power wise and just get an ESS kit. Save all that money you would waste on intakes and ported nonsense. The headers will be a help no matter what, but aside from those, a tune and boost, these are not NA mod friendly cars to anything meaningful past 500 rear wheel hp.
