  1. Ceramic Coating or Not?

I just used DiyDetail 5 year ceramic coating on my ppf. It went on pretty easy and once I got the flash time figured out it was simple to remove.
  2. Jacking up the car?

    I like those. Thank you
  3. Thoughts on the painted aluminum wheel upgrade?

We got the upgraded wheels but not the larger brembos. The regular wheels don’t look as nice.
  4. Jacking up the car?

I have seen that done quite a few times as I have worked on a railroad for a few years. I’ve also used the wood trick a few times too on vehicles.
  5. Jacking up the car?

I will look into those. Used all 4 points tonight and everything went well but I’d rather have those pucks as added insurance.
  6. Jacking up the car?

Thanks for the pics. I am worried about breaking the plastic under there by the welds but feeling it the plastic seems to be recessed a tad so the jack hits the welds first.
  7. Jacking up the car?

🤣🤣 I don’t think wife would go for that
  8. Jacking up the car?

🤣🤣 I went back and read my post and title and I can see how that is possible. There is a mustang by me that has off-road tires on all 4 corners. Combo sports car and bug out vehicle šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  9. Jacking up the car?

Ok, I didn’t see that. That’s what I was looking for. There’s so much carpet matting and plastic under there I was little taken away by that. According to the CJ video I can also use the K member to lift as well
  10. Jacking up the car?

Ok, so I’d place the floor jack on the pinch weld to lift, not the flat metal piece my finger is pointing too?
  11. Jacking up the car?

Ok, I looked at the manual and it’s not clear to me where I should lift/jack the car up. I am needing to remove the wheels so I can ceramic coat them and I want to use my floor jack. There doesn’t seem to be a place big enough that I can use for my floor Jack for the front of the car. The rear...
  12. Oil Pressure

Warmed up on break in oil and I’m seeing 21-23 psi
  13. Carbon filter

That’s interesting. One would think that with the high temperatures in the combustion chamber and intake manifold that the vapors would burn off before escaping out of the intake. So how many ounces of vapor are these able to capture before they become useless?
  14. Window scratched before delivery and repair

That’s not good but hopefully they make things right.
  15. Carbon filter

Very true. I’m hoping the other person replies that’s a chemical engineer. Maybe he’s got some insight as to what they serve.
  16. Carbon filter

Yes, it would. That’s why I’m still trying to figure out why they are there in the first place. If they disrupt the air, which they do, that should cause a loss in power and performance along with fuel economy. On the other hand, if the are there for capturing whatever then why is it a non...
  17. Carbon filter

Very good point. That begs the question then why not replace the whole intake system with a smoother path for the air to enter both throttle bodies? It will have less restrictive air flow but won’t increase power 95% of the time. I’m waiting to see when aftermarket catches up and produces...
  18. Anyone run Liquid Moly engine oil

Just asking if anyone has used this oil in the coyote. It has low calcium so it should work well in a DI motor. It gets great reviews but I don’t know how the coyote motor reacts to it. Thanks
  19. 2024 Mustang outer door panels

Both our doors have these. I don’t like it but it’s hard to see unless you are looking down the side and the lighting is just right. I don’t think Ford is going to fix this issue. I’ve seen 4 other cars with it on two separate lots.
  20. Ceramic Coating or Not?

Thank you on the car. Lol, Vel dish soap. Holy cow that’s bringing back some memories. Both my grandmothers had gallons of that stuff in their houses🤣🤣. And yes, zaino products work. A buddy of mine just sold his ā€˜04 vette that we coated and it still looked amazing. Mind you it was garage...
