I guess I didn’t realize you could still buy plain Dawn soap anymore. I haven’t seen that in 20 years. Every Dawn I see now has perfumes and oxi clean and whatever else added to it. Yes, I remember Zaino, I used their products in the 90’s and into 2000’s. Top of the line stuff back then...
There are quite a few easy to apply ceramic coatings for the DIY. They aren’t as difficult as they were just 4-5 years ago. Clean paint and prep work is a must for a long lasting coating. One thing I would advise is to not use Dawn soap. It’s a misconception that’s been out for decades that...
Yep, we have it and also the dents on both doors right by the handles. Looked at 4 other mustangs on two lots and they all had them as well. Paint many times will look different on plastic than metal. Our Pontiac was like this in silver
From what I’ve seen, no. You gain a few hp but that’s it. And not trying to open the can of worms but I’m betting this is considered an emissions part. If you need any warranty work done specifically to the engine you “could” be giving Ford a reason to question the coverage on their end.
Not at all. Looked at the Camaro and it’s just not comfortable and even looked at a 2023 gt. The front end on those just doesn’t look right and the interior didn’t sit well either.
As another member said it’s a small block v8 with smaller displacement. The low end trq isn’t available but you get higher rpm and a little more horsepower. Trq gets you off the starting line, horsepower gets you to the finish line.
Wish we would have seen this before we purchased our car. We normally don’t do extended warranties but the dash is our biggest concern. We purchased the 10y/100k extended warranty when we bought the car. It covers quite a lot on the car and I hope we don’t need to use it but you never know...
We looked at the black as well. Loved that car but after having black cars for years I was ready for something that didn’t require as much cleaning maintenance. I’m a little OCD and surprisingly my better half loved the active exhaust option which completely blew my mind. The black car didn’t...
I’m curious as to what they are using that will remove the coating? I’m betting it’s something that roughens up the coating surface rather than removing it since the coating actually adheres to the clear coat.
Does anyone else have whining noise from the drivers seat fan? If you sit back too much the fan starts making a noise. It goes away when you lean forward or slightly sit against the back of the seat. I thought it was backfired from the rear speaker but it’s the seat fan.
That’s what we thought. I don’t know if it was because of the time since it was after 7:30 at night or what. We couldn’t even get a quote from our insurance agent on how much the insurance was going to cost because we she needed a vin since the model is so new. The finance guy did his thing...
We had it done when we had the car ppf. We wanted the blue brembo upgrade option but couldn’t find one in Florida. To build a car was going to be 4-6 months and we didn’t want to wait so we got them painted. And I don’t think too many of our cars have them painted like this at least for now...
Just picked up our first Mustang a few weeks ago. The wife loved this color and it was hard to find in a convertible down here. I’ll post more updated pics as it now has full PPF, smoked headlights and taillights, ceramic coated rims and windows, tinted windows all around and painted calipers.
