Due to a stuff-up at the dealer, our Mustang was delivered with standard issue "State" plates last Friday. On Monday, I took them off, queued at the DOT for about an hour, and swapped them for our personalised plates. They were a gift from my wife and we ordered them over two years ago. Anyway...
I installed my DIYvan kit today. Many thanks for the thread, pix and advice. I even got some of the same RTV adhesive you used here in Perth (Western Australia). I don’t think without this thread I would’ve known about these holes. The best money one can spend on a 2024 Mustang is fixing them...
Did anyone get the 19" spare from Pony Parts to fit a Dark Horse? The reason I am asking is because the tyre fitted to the 19" rim (155/70/R19) is a closer match to the DH rear tyre (275/40 R19) than the tyre fitted to their 20" rim (155/60/R20). The differences in diameter/circumference are...
After a 14 year drought without a Mustang and a five-year journey to get another one (I was on a waiting list for a Mach 1, but did not get one), today finally we took delivery of our new Mustang. I guess I can say, worth the wait!
Oh, and don't get me going on the "personalised" number plates. A complicated story, but what it boils down to is that I have to take these to the DOT myself and swap them for ours. They have been sitting there for over two years.
Hi All - many thanks to those who replied regarding our missing under-body strakes. Today we took delivery of our Dark Horse. I went on my knees at the dealership and looked underneath the vehicle. Guess what . . . .
@N1T3MRE
Regarding the under-body strakes you found in the wheel well of your Dark Horse post delivery. We are taking delivery of our Dark Horse in Perth tomorrow. The dealer insists that there is no such thing as under-body strakes in Australia. At least not as a standard delivery item. Would...
Yes, the guys at MADinc are super helpful. They mounted my flow brackets plinth (OEM delete) and the brackets. If only Ford did not make me pay for the vehicle in full, prior to release to MADinc.
We're doing the full PPF (Xpel Stealth), also at MADinc. Plus the window tinting (Xpel Ceramic) and the fabric protection. Yes, it's expensive at about 10% of the OTR cost of the vehicle, but there's the peace of mind and this car will be pampered until we can't drive it anymore. At least that's...
You're lucky there! My dealer wanted to deliver the vehicle the day before we went on a 9-week overseas trip. This was not our prior agreement (no delivery less than 1 week before departure). Then they said it would remain on the lot in the weather while we are away. Also not our prior agreement...
This thread about spare tire option is specific to Australia. It gives an idea what’s possible. Surely something similar available in US?

We are doing full vehicle expel stealth on our new 2024.5 DH. In Australia the factory PPF is not an available option so we are having this installed at a third party. The job actually started today. I will post some photos in due course
That’s an NL-registered car (Netherlands). They are the equivalent of US$ 162,303 to buy and register there.

Thanks! I found the answer in the other thread as you mentioned. To save others the effort, here's a link
