Maybe not quite a Dark Horse, but years ago I took advantage of my other half's extended absence from our residence to do some maintenance on my bike. She was not impressed when I sent her a few of the photos
Many thanks for your post on the ZL1 rock guards. I installed them on our Mustang Dark Horse today, largely a trouble free process. Your comment about the temporary removal of the two push pins on the under side of the rear fender in order to facilitate the installation turned out to be a very...
Good on yah! Big bro looks like a big step bro though. Nothing wrong with blended families.
Yes, Alfie petered out a bit, especially after all the media hype, but I guess still a lot of hassles for many. Be safe!
We had full PPF installed on our Dark Horse for exactly this reason. Expensive and the future will learn whether it adequately protects the paintwork. So far so good, but driving carefully (not close behind trucks etc) and only 2100 km on the clock (in Australia!)
Pre-delivery and even at delivery I discussed them with the sales person because I didn’t want them installed. He had never heard of them, despite being a self-proclaimed Mustang expert. In fact, his demeanour was a bit like I didn’t know what I was talking about. As if 😂😂😂
In the end I looked...
There’s a good thread on this for the US models LH drive. See ref below.
One of the issues is indeed that for the Ozzie models RH drive, the battery is on the other side of the car (in both cases on the passenger side, but you get my point). The US thread advocates connecting the positive lead...
" If you don't want to speed, you set the ACC to the speed limit, and adjust the speed when the limit changes. " - isn't the point that the ISL does that for you, adjusting the speed when the limit changes? Especially when the speed limit changes often within a short distance. Happens a lot in...
It all fits snugly. The "installation manual" tells you to cut a circle with a radius of 50cm out of the insulation material underneath the spare wheel well cover, but I didn't do that and it still fits flat with the rest of the trunk floor. I wrapped the jack etc. in some rags to prevent them...
Mate, I got these at Kmart, on special for $4. That 4 Ozzie dollars! Drive great in my DH 😂😂😂

My DriveSava spare wheel package from Pony Parts arrived yesterday. In the end I went with the 20" rim "to be sure to be sure" it would clear the brakes, in particular at the front. Today I tried the spare wheel at the front and the back, all good. Also the fit in the wheel well is as good as...
We've had XPEL Stealth (=mat) PPF installed on our Vapour Blue DH. The car looks amazing and its lines are accentuated rather than overwhelmed by shine. I attach a few pix so you can see for yourself. I hope the PPF will keep our DH in as new condition for a long time. Like yours, ours is not a...
All this doesn’t make sense to me. It sounds like a design stuff up by Ford in the wiring harnesses specific to your (and other?) options. If there are still blind spot warning lights and inwards turning of the mirrors when you lock the car, then there are clearly wires going to the mirrors...
Have a look at this thread regarding connecting of battery charger

At the rear, where it matters most because these are the driven wheels, compared to OEM the difference for the 19” DriveSava is only 0.4% (3/7) while for the 20” DriveSava it is 1.3% (9/7). I don’t know if these differences are “significant”, but at the rear the 19” is the closest match.
Sure...
Unless I made a mistake, the 19” wheel is a closer match to the rolling diameter of the OEM wheels at the back (where it matters most) than the 20” wheel. See my post in this thread on 19th of Nov. I am not sure if the difference matters though.
Things can get worse and they did for one customer having their Dark Horse stolen off the docks in Melbourne before it even reached the dealership
