You can make a Track mode profile with Comfort steering if it's a thing. But, to be honest, either something on the car is broke or you're 98 lbs IRL. 😅
Fair point. For the average non-pro driver, you won't see a difference. Get them both out on a proper track and push them to the limit and you'll see a Dark Horse brutalizing corners at speed and a GT wadded up against the railings.
It wasn't back when I first tried them. Touchy. But, I took you at your word and looked into them now (it's been a while) and I think you're right. Their accuracy and tolerance for varying road conditions/angles has improved. I might get one! Do you know if it's worth going Pro?
Stage 1 is capable of utilizing up to E30 for more timing. If they really filled the tank with just 91, then that's another point in your corner for sure.
I do respectfully disagree about the AT comment. Deciding to use or not to use the paddles along with the most important aspect which is...
Yeah! That's so weird, now that you bring it up. I'm seeing a lot of wild AT numbers with those Dark Horses. I've seen several autos make well under 700rwhp. I see the manuals making as low as 700rwhp and at high as 730rwhp on canned Whipple tunes with 93 octane. You made an excellent point and...
Yep, and since horsepower is mappable mathematically, that says everything about their driving. 125mph is far from 810hp trap speeds if all things are optimal.
There's so little info out there, I have no reason not to believe you.
Maybe so? I have been way over 140 in mine. I also saw where someone else couldn't shut off emergency braking in Track mode. Mine doesn't use the radar at all in Track mode. Something has changed somewhere down the line I...
Look, you're not wrong. It's not easy to launch and catch a C8 on stock tires. But the Pirellis are fine. Cup's are way better, of course. Another thing, this is all magazine driver times, of which I have little respect. It would not spin spin spin if they knew how to drive. I will die and be...
I don't use launch control. I've been cutting trees down and coming out of the hole on fire for 30 years. It's all about feeling the car. Learning how to listen to the tires and suspension.
Don't get me wrong, the launch control is decent. If I'm feeling lazy (or nervous) I'll flip it on with...
