Yep. 3.73s 0-60 on stock Pirelli tires before I supercharged it. If you have a stick, I can help teach you!
Full disclosure: I live in Florida and it was 100+ degrees outside. So they stuck.
I don't know why U-Drag has such a hard time putting down good launches and ET's with Mustangs. I can't imagine putting down a mid-11 with a supercharged Dark Horse. The C8, however, popped out of the hole like they all do... very, very well.
I have a '24 and in Track mode it absolutely will watch you hit Warp 8 into the back of another vehicle or wall... in silence with a smile on its face. Sounds like they changed it up for the '25 models?
Okay, so, I just did the opposite so I can speak here.
It doesn't really "come off". It's all one part. If you take off your HP splitter, you'll have raggity looking exposed mount points. It won't leave the "upper splitter" part like you have on a non-HP Darkie or GT. You'd need to buy a...
Yeah, the true Track mode disables emergency braking. Every other mode will try to kill you. It's such a stupid, stupid, stupid design idea by Ford. I was on the interstate a while back and had some clown in the left lane doing 65 with a semi 2 cars ahead in the right doing 65. I zipped up and...
I know I'm late to the party but I'll take the bait anyway.
It's basically a heavily modified GT, giving you a humongous starting point advantage for track day/HPDE.
Stand-out differences are:
1. More aggressive chassis tuning and suspension profiles. (it will edge out a GT in handling w/...
EMP rear seat delete, seat belt delete, clutch return spring. Simple stuff. Next up is a harness bar.
Next year is tubular 🏄♂️ k-member, carbon fiber hood, hood pins, carbon fiber driveshaft, Kooks LT w/ H-pipe, Stage 2 Whipple, half shafts, and a few custom tunes. Well, provided some BS...
Yep. The first thing I noticed about my C8 was how cool the interior was... but after I began to get used to it, I realized the build quality is no better than a Mustang. Just looked neat.
You can create a custom profile to switch to that has Track as the base profile, then turn the exhaust to Silent and the steering to whatever you like. Track mode eliminates the emergency braking stuff, I think.
