So, I take this to mean the GT will be at least 485HP, making it less impressive to say the DH to 500. I'm really hoping that numbers very under rated, as at this point I don't think even 525 would really impress me for how much the DH will cost.
Shelby America did Super Snake conversions of Bullitts too for their 6th Gen packages. Even in some videos you see them converting a Bullitt in the background.
Look at the air in cities like LA and Philly in the 70's then look at them today when the were are More factories and cars pumping out smog. it's night and day better, and that's thanks to the EPA.
Watch Rocky and you'd think Philly was just permanently grey sky and overcast all the time. I...
To me the ONLY way that "Dark Horse" would not be lame would be if it was literally the LAST v8 Mustang that Ford was making and they are throwing EVERYTHING they have at it as a last Hurrah. Like, if it was they took the GT500, punched it out to a 5.4L, upped the boost, CF wheels with 315 on...
Which I find odd to even have those. We already know the current Bullitt/Mach1 setup can do 500hp crank with little more than a 93oct tune, 8k+ RPM and 1200WHP. I'd think just a IM/cam change or a small compression bump would have north of 500 if that's all they really wanted.
Cobra R's have engines that are limited to just them, so have GT500's, excluding the 5.4L that was shared with the GT. None have been quite AS unique as the FPC, but engines that are shared to no other Mustang isn't unusual for Ford. The 5.4 was originally based on a truck design and shared with...
