Definitely agree with you but I also have to sarcastically say, maybe Ford has been a bit preoccupied with the number of new recalls they have been issuing across the lineup; so too busy to talk about the next mustang. 🤣
I think the mainstream media outlets have better (or worse, depending on your point of view) things to talk about than a new vehicle model. That is why we have our forums to talk about the truly important stuff here! The S650 Mustang catches our eyeballs and attention, but not so much elsewhere.
I'm with you buddy, convertible performance mustangs don't make sense... but I still want them and will 100% place an order for one if the opportunity comes up. Are you hearing this Ford? TAKE MY MONEY! 🤣
We all know convertible models are inferior to the coupes when it comes to performance -...
Smaller engines create less heat, plus Ford would like you to pony up more $$$ for the GT to get hood vents. Definitely product alignment mixed in with actual functionality.

I agree @DeluxeStang. The way you described the connection to Porsche is real! The 911 was always a great sports car but when Porsche came out with the Cayenne the SUV actually saved the company. Everyone wants the cool sleek sexy car like the 911 or Mustang, but most people can't live with...
Sigh... I agree with ya. I think it has run its course but knowing how Ford can be, if they can sniff out additional profits from a Shelby, Bullitt or Mach 1 version of a S650 mustang they probably will. Not complaining though! All great cars.
I was wondering this myself! Can't quite tell what it says... kind of looks like it shows 2.3? Maybe 4.3? I don't think that would be the GT version though, maybe a sporty ecoboost?
Started seeing the new Mach E Mustang SUV appear on the streets and hitting local dealerships. Anyone know when Ford will likely bring out the electric version of the coupe/convertible Mustang?
