You got non DH owners in a DH sub forum trying to justify not owning a DH... make it make sense. Just enjoy yo shit. I've owned 3 GT's, I didn't want another one. And if you want a manual, I would never touch onother MT82 tranmission. I paid maybe 10k more for my dark horse premium with handling package & recaros than what I would have paid for an optioned out GT PP with similar specs.

In all fairness, MGW kits make the MT-82 shift way nicer. They don't address the throw-out issues of earlier variants, but it is what it is.

Can't speak on reliability, but take that for what its worth

Not to start another argument but a showroom stock Tremec feels better and shifts better than an MT-82 with every aftermarket part installed.

The fact that every manual S550/S650 V8 isn’t a Tremec is silly. The MT-82 ruins the manual experience for anyone who isn’t familiar with the quirks. Only thing I miss about it is the ratios used in the 11-17 boxes.

Tremec’s definitely feel better - no questions about it, but I have zero issues with the MT82 after getting the MGW. A stickshift is a stickshift, and i’ll almost always prefer one over an auto, even a bad one.

I did the MGW and fluid change back when I had a 15gt.
What an awesome upgrade!
Beautiful piece of equipment
