A cheap octane boost is just add 3 gallons of E85, the car will run like a scalded dog.
Is this accurate?
My DH has whatever the dealer put in and I’m suspicious it was 87.
I go short my 93 fill up 3 gallons and use E70 that ok??
I’m trying my hardest to burn up this tank! lol

Very much true...however. I believe anything beyond 94-95 octane there is a diminishing return. In Cali the best we can get if we don't buy unleaded race fuel at $10+ per gallon is 91 octane. I used to run 3 gallons of E85 with my S550 and it would get me to E25 and about 94 octane. I got very little timing pulled even on hot days.

Ok, so maybe not worth it for me since I get 93 octane at Shell and only e70 not e85
