With a Dark Horse on the way, and coming out of an S550 that had Drag Radials, what are you guys using for a second set of Rims and Tires to bomb around town with? The Pirelli Trofeo seem to be pretty soft and ideally suited for the track (like the car itself) however when you want to take your pony up for a 3 hour tour to a family members place up north what ya'll riding with?

Have not put them on my car yet, but I’m planning on putting Michelin pilot sport 4 S tires on my car. I live in an area with very little rain, so running them as my daily on previous cars has been amazing and very fun. If you’re living in an area with a good amount of rain or your road trip will see some hard weather, the all season 4s are a good trade off in terms of performance and fun. Otherwise, would highly recommend the pilot sport 4s

Thanks for the tip @kagemusha2662 - I'll check the reviews on those tires.

I'm looking at options to have a Roadtip Set of Rims and Tires that I can hot swap.

Tire changes are typically 30 minutes so doing it myself with a swappable set would save me money in the long run :)

I'm looking for a set of alternate wheels and tires for road use on the handling pack Dark Horse, for times when the temperature drops in the fall/spring.
Looking at the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4's, but they are not available in 305 or 315 widths. Thinking about picking up a set of standard Dark horse wheels, and running 265/35R19's in front and 275/35R19's in back. According to the 1010tires calculator, these are very close to the diameter of the 305's and 315's, and they should fit on the 19x9.5" and 19x10" standard Dark Horse wheels. Anything I should be concerned about with running this setup on the road for the few months in the fall/spring when the temp drops but there is no snow?
