I've done this with my S550 over on Mustang6G so wanted to the same for this vehicle.

I've been driving a 2021 GT Premium that has been Supercharged (Roush Phase 2) and have been enjoying that however I missed having a manual transmission. The A10 is great but "strap in, press peddle, hang on" gets old after a while.

So I started looking for a manual and figured I wasn't going to get another S550 as the S650 has really started to grow on me. Then I saw a white one from YouTube and fell in love. Found a local(ish) dealership that had an order in for everything but the Appearance Package (don't want blue brake callipers anyways) so put my deposit down.

July 20th and 21st I spent the afternoon putting my S550 up for sale on Marketplace, Auto Trader and the Mustang Group I belong to on Facebook.

Once I had a more realistic idea of the value, based on a midway point between what I was looking for and what the dealership was offering, I think I had it dailed in as there have been 500+ clicks on my S550 on Marketplace since Saturday night.

Going to meet up with a guy tomorrow (July 22nd) who will take a look at the car and then if we decide to proceed will meet him later in the week at a police station for a test drive. Where I live it is smart to meet someone in a secure place, especially since this isn't a Honda Civic. Get a photo of his drivers license and also get him on camera getting into the car and driving it for liability sake.

That happened 30 mins from where I live back a few years ago and that was over a pickup truck, not a Mustang. Crazy things happen and it really shook up southern Ontario. Now it is very uncommon to meet anyone for a high end car anywhere but a public, neutral and secure place.

August 19th - Logged in to check the portal and apparently she is now SHIPPED. We will see how long it takes to get here but it may well be ahead of the September 4th ETA my dealer gave me LOL

Absolutely!!! However, it's when I start answering myself that I need to have my head checked.

This is a nice little way to keep track of when and what things I do to the car. Pictures etc. I can keep all that info for when I'm older and more grey and want to reflect

I just saw a car carrier with a couple of white Dark Horses on it near the Ambassador Bridge that was in an accident. Looked like some of the vehicles were damaged pretty bad ...

No, it was a Ford Performance GT500/Mach 1 spoiler.

Yeah, it was a bit of an internal struggle. She is a beautiful machine and had gobs of power. Roush Phase 2 with upgraded Coolers etc. HOWEVER 750hp where I live is beyond overkill and I, frankly, got bored with the A10. Even in manual mode.

Not to menion the Highway Traffic Act carries very stiff penalties for going 50 over the speed limit. It can be considered stunt driving. As I'm sure anyone with a FI car knows, going from 60mph to 95mph can happen in the blink of an eye.

If the posted limit is 80kph and you are doing 50kph over (so 130 in an 80) that is automatically considered STUNT DRIVING. No discussions, no warnings, no let off the hook. Done.

• Definition of stunt driving: Under the law, stunt driving includes not only excessive speeding but also actions like racing, making unsafe lane changes, and performing donuts or burnouts. However, in instances where the posted speed limit is 80 km/h or higher, exceeding 50 km/h over speed limit in Ontario automatically falls into this category, regardless of the driver’s intent or traffic conditions. This particular definition often applies to high-speed roads, such as highways, where high speeds are more common but equally hazardous.

And this is the fun stuff you get to experience with that charge.

First Offence Penalties:

• 6 demerit points
• potential imprisonment for up to 6 months
• fine: from $2,000 to $10,000, plus a 25% victim surcharge
• mandatory 14-day vehicle impoundment right from the point of charge
• automatic 30-day roadside licence suspension; + 1 to 3 years upon conviction.
• mandatory driver improvement course (must be completed within 60 days of conviction)
