Very nice. I like it. Thanks.

I had the same question about the wires flapping in the wind & scratching the paint. But, it sounds like you have the experience to show that they don’t. Still, it just looks like that would be a possibility. What do you think about using the pins with the wires removed? Or, do you have any thoughts on the wireless, “screw down” type?
I don't have any concerns around the wires, never did, and I wouldn't remove them.... I have some experience around that too as they get lost quite easily when you are thrashing on a car... I like the look of the simple hood pin setup, not a fan of the complexities of the hidden types. If I was using screw down fasteners on a race car then Dzuz would be the obvious choice.

I went with what I know looks good to me and what I know works... Been in the racing game since I was a teenager...

Question to the guys using hood pins - is there a genuine concern here that the hood could fling open during high speed driving, or is it purely for aesthetics/racecar styling?
I'm running an aftermarket fiberglass hood; so yes, there is a genuine concern that the hood could fling open while driving at any speed. Once this hood went on, the pins were no longer an option. They were a requirement.

On my 73 Road Runner I buried the speedometer on it one foolish summer night... The hood was flapping against the pins like a monster was trying to get out... it started around 100 mph and got worse as it hit 140... Yeah get them. The Mustang was the same at 230 kmh. The hood is aluminum and I wouldn't bet my life on it that the striker won't pull loose at that speed...

Well; if I do decide to do hood pins; I'm having you do the install. Wiley + drill + Mustang sheet metal = BAD combination! 😉

PS: NOT riding with you anywhere....................................not without an extra Depends anyway! 😄
