It has been in production since 4/20. I pulled my window sticker and the blend date is 4/23. It is March 2nd and it still hasn’t flipped to built and no update of a new build week or blend date.
I feel for you. I ordered my '26 in December of 2025. It arrived at the dealership on April 14th. I am not patient.

@SHADOWBOT ..... not purgatory, just a normal wait I believe. In production also refers to the process of gathering all the build options. In the case of my 2026 that was active valve exhaust, space gray seats, B&O stereo up-grade with trunk woofer, spare tire, convertible top, and scheduling for Molten Magenta paint. That can take a couple of weeks, depending on the options, then things usually move at warp speed.
I like your choices: active valve exhaust, B&O with trunk woofer, convertible top, and Molten Magenta. I went with the red interior, it fits the magenta exterior. How does the space gray look?

@Jim Hendrickson ..... your car looks awesome. TBH I had not thought of that combination. I had the space gray on my 2024 with vapor blue paint so when we ordered the 2026 we went with that because we liked the look of the 2024. I haven't taken a picture of the car showing the contrast of the gray seats and magenta paint but I will and then post it.

I ordered this Dark Horse Premium on April 21. Order shows “unscheduled-clean” so I am hoping tomorrow is the day to get assigned to a July build week. Fingers crossed!

Mine went to “Built” on 5/14, and now the estimated delivery window is 6/12–6/18. Honestly, it’s hard to believe it takes nearly a month to ship a car these days. You’d think Ford would want to monetize the sale and get the vehicle to the customer as quickly as possible.

If it truly takes this long just to coordinate shipping on a vehicle, that’s a major operational problem for a manufacturer. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever factory order a Ford again. If the exact car I want isn’t already on a dealer lot, I’ll probably just buy something else from another manufacturer.

When competitors selling vehicles in the $70K+ range can build and deliver cars significantly faster — including during winter months — and have figured out how to manage the supposed winter tire shipping challenges that Ford struggles with, Ford is going to have to improve if they want to compete in the high end performance market they’ve chosen to enter with these higher prices they now charge.

Any progress yet? @DRG2026. Still have mine stuck at built with no “Last Updated” changes. A bit off considering that I’m now in the ETA time (5/23-5/29).
