Nose to Nose damaged Dark Horse

So, repairable or need a new nose?

My wife came home the other day and parked in front on my DH.
Never thought anything about it until I went out to take a look at the lawn and noticed how close her Tremor was parked to the DH.

When i looked closer I was jaw dropped to see her truck kissing the upper part of the mustang nose.
Licence plate bracket gouged the outside area and scuffed the middle area. The upper nose was folded over, but thank the man upstairs no other damage to the grill or other areas of the nose.

And yes she is still my wife for now. LOL

Of course! I'm really sorry this happened. Does the Tremor have parking assist? I know accidents happen but when it starts to rapidly beep it's time to stop. A body shop is unlikely to try to fix that. They'll order a new nose, spray it and put it on. The surrounding panels may require blending depending on age. The only thing any of us can say here is we're sorry it happened. After some serious buffing It will be hardly noticeable, but if you don't fix it, you'll see it every time you drive your car.

If you drive 'em .... "Stuff happens" .... get it fixed and move on ..... it will make great a great story down the road

That color is just about impossible to match. Its beautiful but man I wouldnt wish that on my enemy to get that one right on a match. Its like a 76 stage paint...lol

The right shop can match paint. Yes, the metallic colors are challenging but a good paint man can do it. My STI was dark gray metallic. Another one of those challenging colors to match. My car was parked. A 90-year-old backed into my bumper. He crossed two lanes of traffic in a Cadillac Escalade that had a rear camera and parking sensors. I was like how the F.

The right shop can match paint. Yes, the metallic colors are challenging but a good paint man can do it. My STI was dark gray metallic. Another one of those challenging colors to match. This is a mystachrome type tricoat color. Blue ember metallic.

My car is Blue Ember. I know it's crazy and super difficult... But I know a guy . I agree. I wouldn't wish it on anybody. It's like the ladies who specialize in hair color. Once you become a master colorist you can match anything.

If my wife did this to my Mustang or M2 we would need serious marriage counseling. Seriously, paint shops have gotten so good at matching paint. That is not a serious repair. I'm not saying it will be cheap but its a non issue really.

Well I think I'll keep her for awhile, she has other talents. haha

I guess i'll have to grin and bear the expense.

DH will have to stay this way until I can set up a paint shop visit.

They may be able to repair the front fascia and do a respray. One thing, even with factory paint you may start to see a difference after awhile as paint that is sprayed on plastic is a different outcome on metal. Not to mention they have to use a flex agent as plastic is flexible and it will crack without it.

I would take a minimalist approach with this.
