I have Ford Perf X-pipe on my 2024 GT and had shop do the install. It isn't that hard IF you have access to a lift. It is basically cut off the resonator at the right places and fit the X-pipe into the opening, with clamps to hold everything together. But, it would be WAY tough (IMO) without a full lift to work under the car. I do like the results! Sounds better than stock without being raucous or rowdy! Good luck!

Just did this last weekend, hardest part is getting the car on jack stands. All you'll need is a sawzall and a socket set. The instructions have the exact measurement for where to cut the resonator off and as long as you follow them you'll be fine

Well, Tigerchevelle, as the proverbial "really old" guy (78 in my case), I take your thinking as constructive advice, rather than criticism! I wouldn't mind doing this type of stuff, and have done similar in the past, but getting a car up high enough on jack stands to crawl under and do this sort of job is no small ask! The work isn't the problem, it's access! But to each his own, as they say! You will enjoy the X-pipe results I bet!

Hahaha. You have a pass sir you deserve to not work on any car anymore.
Its the guys my age and younger that need to get out into the garage and work on there cars.
What ive figured out with low cars is to jack one side up and put a couple 2x4 under the one tire, and repeat on the other till I can jack from the crossmember, and I use wheel cribs made of wood ,and then jack the back up from the diff of the vehicle to put the stands or more wheel cribs.
Sorry if I came off harsh on you,its usually the guys my age that think they need a lift for everything.
I was taught by my pass employer which was owned by a family, the grandpa was from the depression area, and his son tom, that was my boss taught me not to limit myself with not having certain tools and how to figure or make things to accomplish tasks.
They made me driven.
I started working for them at 18yrs old and worked with them for 20 plus yrs.

Hey guys!
I'll be having a shop install the FORD Performance X Pipe on my 2026 GT Premium this Monday.
On my 2020 and 2023, we had to make sure we left enough room on the passenger side actuator so it would not rub against the back. Any known issues with the S650?

Well even on top of that Sir, I am fast approaching 58 yrs YOUNG and still work for a living and do very well but if I work then I can afford to pay for Services I need. A lot of other things I will do for myself but this isn’t one of them. So, I won’t receive this in a Negative light but will take it as you’ve got it going on for your age. Kudos and Blessings to you STUD!!!

Pics.
BTW this fits the 2024 GT no problem.
Wife's car is a non active exhaust, but dont know if that matters.
This is a very cost effective part.

Welds are really nice, for a Chinese made part.
I think roush has them made from the same factory.
One thing that should be done is rough cut the catback tubes that attach to the mufflers, and have the xpipe bolted up,then
Have the catbacks off the car and use a 4.5 cutoff wheel on an angle grinder and fine tune the length needed.
I also found it easier to also unbolt the hanger brackets closest to the rear bumper have them installed onto the mufflers round bar and bolt it on to the frame.
Install is not very hard.
The sound is louder but not crazy or drone.
The wife likes it so she happy how her car sounds.

I appreciate the kind words,I just like to see and hear fellow car owners wrenching on there rides,it builds good relationships with this hobby, I see alot of kids swaying away from the hobby and always encourage all to play with there toys!

Once upon a time I was in to the wrench turning and switching out parts on early model cars but I gave in a while back I guess and said I’d leave it to the Professionals. Lol. I won’t even hook up the Laptop to do the FORScan items that I’d like to have added to the GT. Think I just prefer to get what I want at a cost and enjoy this one … till the next one!! šŸ˜‰

But you keep on representing for us ā€œSeasonedā€ fellas!! šŸ’ŖšŸ½ Great job by the way on your Installs!!
