So my next door neighbor is a kiddo with an s550, lowered so much that an integral fuel delivery part was compromised and he had to park it off the properly until he got it fixed it stank so bad. It's also loud enough to make me jump out of my seat on cold start which I can appreciate. So of course I struck up a convo with him about his mods and he told me he didn't know because it was like that when he bought it. Well damn dude did you want to poke around a bit and see? I mean don't you care?

Also I recall while working at the parts store, a kid with a 370Z came in for wiper blades and asked us to install them for him. It's like wow bro do you want me to bang ur gf for you while I'm at it? I'm not expecting you to rebuild your own engine but if you drive an enthusiast's car you should at least be doing some things on your own.

So many posts like this on the forum, bad kids these days. Its funny, i read an article in new york times about how every generation from 40s to now complained about kids/younger generations. Every single one said that next one was lazy and entitled. From boomers to x, y and z. Its same old boring story, about nostalgia and good old days from a generation which time has almost passed. And same story even with how the mustang sounds, or how screens and technology are shit, or how automatic is not real mustang, or v6 or i4. Bla bla bla

Sorry you did not get to grow up in a time where you could leave your doors unlocked and key's in the car. Not worrying about all the crap we have to deal with these years. No one is going to look back and say the 2020's were the best time.

First of all there is nothing to be sorry about, i didn’t miss out on anything. Second im in my mid 30s and growing up my parents did leave stuff unlocked, it was super safe in suburbs. Third i bet your parents generation felt the same way as u. But if we are going to go there i think 2000s were better then any other time in history, but also i had different experience of those years than you. So maybe just maybe every person has different idea of which were the best years based on their own experience. There is no universal truth when it comes do stuff like this.

Yes, the ancient Greeks also moaned about the kids. But at least theirs didn't count genders in the hundreds.

Oh wow, that’s such a stupid comment, that plus has nothing to do with me or with what i said. But just as a bonus ancient Greeks had sex with everyone and everything, they just didn't label it the same

From you're reply, I'm assuming you're under 30? Hence the reason you take everything as a personal affront. And struggle with written comprehension
It was a generality and a piss take with a grain of truth. Zoomies are the generally the most overly sensitive, easily upset and arguably most gullible generation there has been.
I would hate to see them face a World war, the Cuban missile crisis, or a real depression like my parents generation did.

Can we just have a section on the forum where we all talk like boomers?

NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT... GOOD TO SEE SOMEONE ELSE WHO GETS IT!! 👍

I WAS JUST TELLING THE WIFE (SHE’S A SAINT FOR PUTTING UP WITH ME AND MY CAR PARTS IN THE DINING ROOM!!) THAT THIS PLACE NEEDS A CORNER FOR THE REAL ENTHUSIASTS. YOU KNOW... THE ONES WHO ACTUALLY KNOW HOW TO TURN A WRENCH AND DON'T NEED A COMPUTER SCREEN TO TELL US HOW TO DRIVE!! 🛠🏎

BACK IN MY DAY WE DIDN’T HAVE "MODES" OR "SENSORS" FOR EVERYTHING... WE JUST HAD GRIT AND A GOOD SET OF LUNGS!! KIDS THESE DAYS WANT THE CAR TO DO THE WORK FOR THEM. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SOUL?? IF YOU CAN'T CHANGE YOUR OWN WIPER BLADES... MAYBE YOU SHOULD BE DRIVING A GOLF CART!! ⛳

ANYWAY... HOPING THE MODS SEE THIS. WE NEED A SPOT WHERE WE CAN TALK SHOP WITHOUT ALL THE BALONEY.

SENT FROM MY I-PHONE
GOD BLESS 🇺🇸 V8 OR NOTHING

Another comment that doesn't make any sense whatsoever or is related to anything i said, but that's just your MO. I also wrote that im in my mid 30s, im almost 35. I also didn't take anything personal, just commented on a stupid title of this post "Two types of kids I don't like". Maybe someone should make new post: "Two types of old farts i don't like", think about that. Its very funny that you are talking about overly sensitive, when you and your pals here complain the most. And as a cherry on top here comes u wouldn't survive world war or whatever bullshit is that. Maybe my generation wouldn't even start one in the first place.
