A little help from the crowd would be appreciated.

Car is 2025 Mustang GT Manual with Performance Package and active Exhaust (301a).

I’ve got the Ford Performance supercharger being installed by my son at his Ford Dealership in Spring.

Prior to, I’m compiling the following mods to be installed as supporting the build…

Already purchased:

1) Steeda Stop The Hop Kit (Street Starter)
https://www.steeda.com/Steeda-S550-Mustang-Stop-The-Hop-Starter-Kit-555-4455
2) Steeda GT500 Vertical Links with Poly Bushings (NOT DELRIN)
https://www.steeda.com/steeda-555-4137-mustang-vertical-links-polyurethane-bushings

Likely adding the GT350 Halfshafts and looking at Wheels / Tires to fix traction.

Likely going with an SVE Wheel for cost and weight savings with Michelin PS4 Summer Tires.

I’ve already got my wheels / tires up for sale - asking $1200 with center caps and sensors with 2400 miles on them. Let me know if that’s reasonable.

Already have the AOS from Ford Performance installed. I’ll have to modify it when the supercharger goes on.

I'm trying to make supporting mods that don’t add NVH- I’m too old for that crap - and has to fit in with the wife acceptance factor.

What else does everyone recommend that won’t add NVH (none of the above will per Steeda) but will help with putting the added power down? Or am I in a good spot with that I’ve acquired so far?

BTW Reached out to HPP (DFW Chevy/Ford Performance Shop) and they quoted me 8 hours to install the Steeda parts at $1500 … my son and I will be doing it ourselves at the dealership after hours. That’s just obscene. Steeda themselves states 3-4 hours if you don’t know what you’re doing. 🤣.

Who knows maybe I’ll build a Shop for my son and I on our back property and we can do work on the side at a reasonable price 🤣.

TIA

I'd stick a radiator and 170 thermostat in it. And a set of 4.09's if you're a stick.

It’s already got the Dark Horse radiator in it from the factory as part of the Performance Package…

That should be sufficient.

If I were staying N/A I would do 4:09’s all day… but with a blower I’m trying to keep traction not lose what little I’ll have 🤣

thanks for the comments

Look how long the gears are stock...

You only have four non-overdrive gears compared to seven in the auto or five in the old MT82

Yikes. Thanks for the info. Might consider that anyway based on that info. 💪

Long tube headers are a huge plus. The stock cats don’t like boost temperatures. And probably a full 3 inch cat back if you’re going to do the headers. The supercharger will respond well to the exhaust.

if you don’t want to do the exhaust, upgrading to the 112 throttle body and a modified tune from whipple will do great.

Positive displacement superchargers want big inlets and big outlets. And none of these mods require anything more than a whipple tune.

My thoughts - as previously mentioned: Headers
2. Open up your exhaust system for better exhaust flow (ie remove catalytic converter)
3.Larger air intakes for the supercharger - maybe the SC comes with one?
4. A performance chip?

Holy cow. It is an extremely wide ratio four speed. with two overdrive gears.

For comparison's sake, my 4 speed in my 66 GTO had a 2.2 first gear, almost the same as the second gear in that MT82D4. Wow.

The wide ratio Muncie in GM cars had a 2.52 or 2.56 first gear. 3.23 is like some Rock Crawler granny gear.

100% on the Mishimoto radiator (they make one the same thickness as the Dark Horse). You may even look around for a custom radiator that will bolt in for cooling beyond what is available from Ford (sorry, not aware of one, but I have seen plenty of folks posting about them over at trackmustangs where cooling is needed on track) but the 4.09 rear gear suggestion strikes me as odd.

With that having been said, robvas may know more about this than I do. I have not experimented with rear gears on manual, whippled Coyotes.

But most guys go numerically lower, down to like 3.31 with the manual once they install a Whipple, not the other direction.

6G forum has a lot more technical and detailed discussions on mods than this 7G forum does. Here are guys with automatics and manuals and whipples discussing what gear they had, what gear they changed to, why, and what happened.

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/boosted-which-gear-ratios.165528/

Example:
"I've got a Whipple car as well making 885rwhp and swapped my factory 3.55 for the 3.31's. Much better and I can cross the trap in 4th gear instead of having to shift into 5th."
