This is probably true, as you can practically build an entire Tri-five with new parts as well as put a new modern-design frame and put it under an OE body, fitted with disc brakes and coilovers all around.At one time, GM's Tri-five Chevies were the most modified vehicles on the planet. Even today, virtually no other models have as much after-market support. From what I read here, I suspect that title will be bestowed upon the Mustangs from the death of the Fox body until now!

One part of me wishes I still had my 2015 GMC Sierra 6.2, but then I remember it had the clunky ass 8 speed.By that measure, the GM 6.2L is the most desirable engine, if one overlooks their utterly abysmal reliability, tendency to blow up and GM's lack of support.
