So had anyone seen this color IN PERSON - thinking of ordering the SC in it ...? Or just stay with that great looking blue on the press release car ...

I watched this yesterday And thought it was pretty good. My key takeaway was that the car in person looked much better than in any of the pictures. Especially the front end.

eh, i wouldn't say "scared", more inexperienced. i haven't driven something any meaningful distance with cf wheels, so i don't know how strong and durable they are. on one hand, it's carbon fiber, which is really strong, and if there was a problem with cf wheels, Ford would've stopped using them. on the other hand, i've seen a GT500 CFTP get towed in with one wheel's rim completely ruined. i think it's just the all-or-nothing failure mode and the visual intensity (if that makes sense) of that failure that makes me anxious, combined with the cost of a single wheel.

also, guessing you're talking about the toybarn off Cave Creek and Lone Mountain, right? that's further south than where i live, but they're actually building yet another one up near the Dutch Bros further up Cave Creek, but not quite to Carefree Highway. if you ever stop at that Dutch Bros, shoot me a PM and i'll come by and say hi

Actually let me talk to my buddy and see what shows he has planned/ when our down time will be but literally staying right around the corner from that Dutch Brothers (get my daughter drinks there almost every morning we are not at a car show lol)

if you go from Dutch Brothers up to carefree and turn right....then right again on 60th ...go past the YMCA/Paradise Valley Community college - it dead ends in gated community ..thats where my buddys house is.....

order banks have not actually opened yet. the order guide and price list isn't even out yet. i plan to order a Dark Horse SC as well, just hoping that the price isn't too insanely high. i'm just stuck between whether to get Argon Blue, Orange Fury, or Molten Magenta...

I'll be trading in for an SC too. Hoping for an Avalanche Gray type of color. Price is the only thing that would hold me back, but I just don't see starting MSRP being much more than $88-90,000.

you are in luck. i did some looking and Avalanche is a color offered on the SC. Ford has built a couple already as test/press vehicles
