2026 Mustang - Stop / Start still there

Anyone with a new 26 can you tell me if they are still installing the S/S system. Also has Ford stopped leaving the holes atthe inner forward wheel wells?

Wheel arch liners were changed in 2025 with a flap where the hole was.

Having watched a few 2026 car reviews, Ecoboost still has S/S as does the GT but DH has no button any more so maybe not for the DH

What does it matter if it does? It is easy to defeat in the setup.

I understsnd the goverment has relaxed emission requiements and some manufacturers are not installing the system now. Thats why I ask. Sorry to have bother Alan.
I dont have permanent turn off in setup. Each time you start the car You must repeat pushing the button ( if the system is working).

I have S/S system but its never worked.
There is a recall for the BCM refresh but Im good without it. Plus I saved $1000 have the system for broken system. Win Win.

You can program all of the modes including turning off the S/S. It is under My Mustang.

You can just push engine start and auto start-stop buttons at once as long as you have two fingers available.
Ford was so nice to not having to wait until the engine actually started or the whole digital systems have booted and to putting both buttons next to each other.

Again I don't need bother, my system is inop, kaput, broken, and for all you military types, its tango uniform.
