I just watched your video. I have the Performance Package so I didn’t have to do any of that.it’s secure and would be difficult to move with wind. Maybe 200 mph might move it in but it’s definitely not just dangling. I haven’t driven with it yet as there’s snow and salt on the ground in Ohio currently.
install wise you just use a socket or wrench to install the main shaft. It screws in counter clockwise. Then you adjust the hook and tighten it clockwise. Other than pulling the plastic cover off the front bumper that was it. The tow hook is better than the one that came with the car.
