My car is real. It came in early and I had a “supervised visit” ahead of it being dealer prepped and apparently they want money?!
Picking up next week, but it looks amazing and sounds better

So found out they put my Mustang GT in the train car to transport it. They told me the train wasn't moving for several days at Michigan due to I'm guessing the snow storms and now it's slowly arrived at Illinois being transferred in a train car to the destination as we speak. I'm expected to get my car most likely during the Christmas week, we'll see

The 2026 models ARE in production .... my window sticker / Monroney, indicates that the "blend" date is set for next week 10/10 ... my dealer says delivery a week to 10 days later ......
Since the BCM / seam sealer issue is likely resolved, I think that the 2026, 7th Gen models, will likely be the most reliable and best quality cars made to date (most of the mfg and engineering "bugs" resolved)

I'm thinking the same. My only hesitation is paying full MSRP. Considering my options.

Full MSRP is only for a DH given their very limited quantities.

If a GT, you should be able to get $3K - $5K off.

When I asked a dealer about that, he said that a discount from MSRP isn't a guarantee since discounts are based on date of delivery. If there are no Ford incentives at that time, I would be forced to pay MSRP or cancel my order. I'm a rookie at this having never ordered a new car -- the process is new to me.

I may wait till spring and choose something off of a lot, but thinking through the possibilities -- all the typical things that coming in to play when buying an expensive car.

This is great information. Something I wasn't aware of. Though the timing of purchase and exactly what I will purchase is unknown at this moment, it sounds like I should apply for a membership ASAP. Start the 90-day clock knowing that a purchase is just a matter of time. Any fault in my thinking? And I do like the idea of being part of the club.

. Also, one of the forum sponsors seems to be the best place to get an extended warranty, if you’re into that kind of thing. Although, if i recall correctly, you may have some mods in mind. But sometimes i wonder if extended coverage for those non-modded items might come in handy.
