Reported screen glitches at first service early October. Vehicle going in tomorrow for two days of wiping and reinstalling. Now another in January. Excellent.

Well that's a little disappointing - just picked my car up from it's 12 month service where they were supposed to do the recall while they had it, but nothing got done

It seems there are 2 Ford service databases - my VIN shows on 1 for the recall, but not on the other (must be the same one as the Fordpass app updates from, because that still shows nothing). When they completed the service, the system didn't tell them to do the recall, even though I told them for the third time this morning when I dropped it off...

It might have to wait for it's 10,000km service (24 months ) to get looked at now - they might have a different fix for it by then.

At least now the gov recall website and Fords website agrees. Looks like Ford now officially lists my car as needing this recall when I put my VIN in at the below location:

S650 Mustang Australia - 25C43 S650 recall (Water Ingress/BCM damage) 1765435764563-hy

It also shows in the Ford app as needing the recall. Those thinking their cars are not affected should probably just double check what the app and the Ford website says for their VIN now.

Has anyone received the official letter from Ford Australia in the snail mail about this yet?
I haven't.

The IPC recall was issued on Oct 17 2024, and I received the letter (dated Dec 10 2024) mid December. Almost two months after.

Based on that, this official recall letter is well and truly overdue.
Unless they haven't figured out how to perform this recall as cheap as possible yet?

I've not received any physical paperwork yet either. Mine is booked for it's 12 month service on 12Feb. They told me they'll take care of the recall at the same time, but the car will need to stay overnight. At least I'm getting a loan vehicle.

Mine went in for a service a few weeks ago, and I asked about the recall, and they said they would need the car for a few days to do that, so we both agreed to defer it to the next service in Jan27 :)

I got the recall letter from Ford and booked mine in for early March

Doesn't seem like a big deal. From the discussion with the Service Dept. they'll test to see if there's water ingress and if so fix it. I've been told allow 60 mins for inspection and any fix

They told me half a day. Don't know why some are being told it's an overnight thing.

I had the annual service on 22/01, apparently they fixed the water ingress issue as well.
Definitely it didn't stay overnight.

I think it's a potential stay overnight if they find leakage and have to perform more work to seal and let the sealant dry. If they find no leakage, it easy to do in a day.

you are probably right. Also if it's humid, sealant requires more time to dry.
