theres a rattle in my passanger recaro and it drives me crazy. i might have to take it into ford to see what they will do to remedy it. i can replicate it anytime i want just by smacking the seat lightly
Just make sure the latch on the seatbelt isn't bouncing on the plastic door frame. I had that for over a year, in my Titan truck, until I figured it out. All I had to do was a half twist in the belt so the latch faced the opposite direction. Glenn

Performance may outweigh the little rattles and buzzes, but it’s frustrating that buyers are still held hostage to Ford’s quality control issues. The Mustang might be the “last man standing” in its segment, but that doesn’t excuse Ford from its responsibility to the loyal Mustang community.

When you’re spending $50K–$80K on a GT or Dark Horse, it’s hard to believe every dollar is going strictly toward performance. How much does it really cost to engineer a car that feels tight and free from distracting noises — or at least close enough?

Will this stop me from buying my first Mustang? Probably not. But it’s disheartening that enthusiasts have to accept compromises

If you think Ford's bad, be thankful you don't have a Lotus.
Though I’ve had some concerns, I’m truly thankful the Mustang is still here carrying on a heritage that stretches back to the ’60s. In a segment where so many cars have disappeared, it’s great to see this one alive and evolving. Coming from Chevy roots, I’m excited to join the Mustang community and celebrate what makes it special — and for this, I thank Ford for standing behind the brand and keeping the passion alive.

Its funny i had base 24 eco now i have loaded 24 gt (difference around 22k $) and they both make same sounds, back seat on passenger side rattles, and door plastic panel on drivers side. I put some foam behind back seat and that fixed it. For door panel i just put exhaust in sport/track mode and i dont hear shit. For a comparison i also have 2014 v6 glk 350 and it doesn’t make any annoying sounds whatsoever. So Yea it would be nice if car didnt have any of those sounds but honestly it rly doesn’t matter to me, i still prefer driving a mustang :D

It's the airbag cover plate on side of seat. Have dealer pull cover off and add felt. I didn't do myself because there is an airbag in there. It's on the hook that supposed to grab your seat belt but never does. Sorry if I answered this already, but I knew how annoying this was.

I've got a creaking noise coming from the small rear window on the left side (passenger side, Australian car) when at highway speeds on course chip roads. My S550 did the same thing.

I've had a number of European and Thai built Fords. The fit and finish inside and out was excellent. Both my American built Mustangs have had issues. It would appear what's considered acceptable is lower in 'Murica unfortunately.

Most likely the rear seat catch?

Is it your mother-in-law, per chance? Glenn
