I've got a creaking noise coming from the small rear window on the left side (passenger side, Australian car) when at highway speeds on course chip roads. My S550 did the same thing.
I've had a number of European and Thai built Fords. The fit and finish inside and out was excellent. Both my...
I see you have the Hustle Performance H pipe. Mine turned up a few days ago.
I was looking to get a Steeda from Mustang Motorsport but they have been out of stock for months. Last I heard was Jan before they are back.
The Hustle was $400 delivered in the Black Friday sale, a fair bit less...
Thats pretty much it.
You can still drive the car but your ability to steer is inhibited.
When you turn the wheel far enough the end will hit either the transmission tunnel or your right leg. Maybe even the windscreen depending on the car.
Good practice would be to put full lock to your...
There was a spate of car thefts in my area one weekend a few months back.
Someone put on FB footage from their doorbell cam.
The little scrotes rolled up in a stolen car, one jumped out and hopped into another parked in the drive. I'm guessing it wasn't locked. Sunny Sunday afternoon and all...
New car or refresh very much depends on where you are coming from.
If you are getting out of a 2015-17 FM S550 then the S650 is very much a new car. Loads of significant changes.
If however you have a late model FN such as yourself (this is what I came from) then the S650 is a refresh. Some...
The prices on the builder are just nuts and that's kinda my point.
If you want a specific colour with a pack and something like Magnaride then you might be struggling to find a car in stock at a good price.
But, if you are flexible on colour and just want a regular GT I think you are crazy to...
There's a lot to be said for driving about in an older 4wd.
Tyres and suspension that can handle the potholes and bodywork you don't care too much about.
I am currently seeing MY25 cars with delivery K's available for low to mid 80's here in Aus. What happens in the UK isn't relevant to this thread.
So, the point stands. Very hard to justify ordering a car unless you are OK with throwing 5 figures down the toilet.
It's 78 drive away.
I do wonder how people with one on order must feel seeing this. It would give me massive buyers remorse and I'd be looking to cancel. If you even lost your deposit you'd still be better off, and you don't have to go through the crazy wait which for me isn't part of the...
2025 auto brand new at my local dealer, 100 grand.
2024 auto with 6000k's on the clock 78 grand.
Same car, different colour. Drive it for 6 to 12 months and lose 22 grand!?
Why the F'k would you buy a new one?
Ok, here's the pic.
Gas pedal to corner of the port bracket 17cm.
Corner of the brake pedal to corner of the port bracket 12cm.
It's when I come off the gas and lift my foot to go to the brake I catch the OBD.
Will do. For now, I measured in a straight line from the bottom of the metal bracket holding the OBD to the gas pedal with the tape touching both. Shortest distance.
As I said earlier, I measured 17cm from the gas pedal to the bottom of the port bracket, at the closest point. If someone could measure the same on their car it would be greatly appreciated.
50 views and no reply, guessing it only me. Maybe you all have girly feet.
Out of interest I just measured the shortest distance from the gas pedal to the port. Only 17cm which does seem rather close.
A size 10 shoe is about 30cm.
Has the OBD port moved position from where it was on the S550?
Reason I ask is when I take my foot off the gas to move to the brake I keep catching the corner of the metal bracket that holds it in place. Not every single time, but often enough to be annoying.
This never happened on my 2021...
