Starting another elongated economy thread, I've just travelled up to Auckland to renew my passport, 500 kms return. I can't believe I averaged 10.1L per 100kms. That's 23.2 miles per every one of those tiny gallons you guys have in the US
. The best numbers yet.
This was not economy driving, sitting on 110 - 120kmh, half was rural backroads with a fair bit of hard acceleration to pass all the snails that were out, and half 4 lane expressway.
My supercharged MX5 struggled to do that.
