Its junk. It doesn't work like actual tuning will do. Go with a reputable tuner and tuning device. Those plug and play pre programmed units never do much of anything but maybe give you slightly better throttle response.

Agree with the above post. Junk and misleading. Research this forum to find a reputable tuner.

Oh ok. I got base GT with LTH installed on 10 speed. With tuning how much more HP can I make? I see tuners charge around 1k is this worth? Any idea on that?

A million more HP.

You were grip limited before from a dig, and that just got worse.

You will feel a difference in acceleration getting a tune. You will shave a few tenths of a second off your quarter mile time at worst. If you go with E85 for fuel you will see more gains.

Yes about $700-1k for the tune and the device you need to flash the tune.

Keep in mind you'll be forfeiting your powertrain warranty if you flash the ECU. People will claim the mangnuson-Moss act will protect you, and the dealer has to prove your mod broke the car, but have fun litigating that against a megacorp.

Can you feel the difference that installing headers made? It will be about that much again. Are you willing to run E85? Then a tune will pick up quite a bit more.

Did you get rid of the 2.25" restriction in the exhaust? The stock exhaust reduces to 2.25" right before the resonator (you can look at the pipe and see it) and then increases to 2.5" after the resonator (you can see that, too, by looking at the pipe.

Are you willing to let the car run more rpm than it does now? There is some more horsepower to be picked up beyond the factory shift point, too, by adjusting it upward a little.

If you just run E30 you won’t gain anything from the tune except a small bump in redline, a firmer shift schedule (if 10 speed) and reduced lag on throttle input.

but no real gains to speak of.

Yeah with headers I can feel quicker shifts. I have an H pipe. So with tuning and e85 can I say car would make about 20 more hp?

25 horsepower going from E30 (434) to E85 (458). Note that running E30 on the stock tune already picks up power. This car does not have headers. They also did not raise the rpm limit.

Chip tuning has always had a strong following in the UK and, I think, Europe. But there are a lot of dodgy suppliers about.
I'm not a fan of the "one size fits all" approach.

Here's how you know this thing is 100% bullshit:

They have a device for EVERY CAR

No tuning company worth their salt can cover that many vehicles

'Installs in 60 seconds'

Generic ass increases in mpg and horsepower. +40hp! Increased mpg!

It just plugs into your OBD port. They are not writing your ECU like a real tuner would.

Also, $39.95?
