I guess I don’t understand what everyone is talking about. Seems fast to me… I came from a Subaru WRX tR Edition and that display would literally take a complete second or two between clicks on the screen to respond.

the Mustang is a breath of fresh air with its speed… maybe it’s just perspective?
Every once in a blue moon, my infotainment system is slow to boot-up after I start the car. Beyond that, I've had no issues with slow processing. Not sure what the above complaints are about or what they have to do with a CAI lol.

Anyway, those factory intakes...

CAI and CPU? Both start with C................not really much else in common. 😉

I also frequently experience slow to load software/menus. Not really sure what Ford uses for data storage in our cars; I "assume" its some sort of SSD. The read capability of the storage media/drive, BUS capability/bandwidth, CPU speed (cycles per second), as well as the software code itself can all affect speed of loading/display.

Happy with my OEM CAI though! 👍 Except for those ugly *** tubes! 😆

Shortly after getting my car, I wrote to Ford and told them that a much faster processor was needed. If they are going to include the plethora of electrical gadgets and computer processing, then they need processors that can handle the requirements! Glenn
I've told them that in their "feedback" function that comes up now and then on the screen. They ask me and I tell them and no doubt, they'll change it. They know my address so I'm sure they'll be right over with a faster processor......

I've never had an issue with lag except the Mustang button to get to the Car settings for exhaust and stuff won't open until a minute or 2 of Sync starting

Money will buy pretty tubes. Money solves all Mustang problems, right? Well, not really.

Some people don't have enough to buy one in the first place. But, they deserve one for sure. Just ask them.

My computer tells me the intake temp. is usually very near whatever the ambient is. It should be but companies sure do sell aftermarket intakes. Marketing works, especially that monthly pay plan. I see that and cringe. Slavery isn't out of style by a long shot. People volunteer for it., 🤣

Thats quite the word salad. Money, entitlement, computers, marketing, and slavery. Well done. 👏🏻

It might be better than the Subaru, but considering all the functionality these processors do, I don't ever want to see a delay. And I don't care if it is only a delay in rendering an image on a screen. I want it to be instantaneous, always! Glenn
