Smallest Dash Cam?

This is not another typical dash cam post. I want to a horizontal dash cam that I can put in that little notch on the windshield behind the rearview mirror (where the sensor box is located) that's small enough where I won't see it (hidden behind the rearview mirror). I have that one, works well I wish I could change the start up audio from talking to just a beep. To get around that I just turned the volume all the way down, the blue status light is hard to see in day light. I had a larger one and I hated the fact I could see it next to the mirror. So I found this one, it’s been problem free for about 8 months. Hope that helps in your decision making!

oh! So it's completely hidden behind the mirror?

Not 100 percent covered from my position I would say 95 percent with the angled usb only being slightly visible.

Garmin mini is very small. Only issue is the mount does not allow you to spin it more than 90 deg left or right. Like to spin it to drivers side window to film the popo at your window. Based on the location, maybe none would allow that

I don't have that camera but be aware, it uses a chipset that supports 1080p. For 4k, that's interpolating. You also won't get fantastic low light or nighttime performance most likely. If that's ok, this is a good budget option. Unfortunately, if you want real 4k and/or good low light performance, the cameras are a bit larger by necessity.
