If I can negotiate a reasonable deal, I'm considering a special order. Looks a little plain-Jane in OW, but I'm guessing it's a decent canvas for aesthetic upgrades in the future. I also like white for hiding "stuff".

The red calipers look nice - I chose a wheel that allows them to space to "shine". I would LOVE to add custom wheels in the future - Project 6GR has some cool stuff.

I guess a little window tinting may be nice?

Anyway, I attached the build sheet, what am I missing for a street car that will NOT see track time. Anything important missing?

Thanks in advance.
You will regret the white - had one hated it

So much for the MagneRide. Forced to add items and delete others at a MUCH higher price. It's a racket.

Because you hate white in general, or something else?
I must say, there's something about the Grabber Blue that catches my eye. I waffle back and forth on the color, though.

I like the Vapor Blue, but it's just a little to muted (gray like) if moving towards the blue spectrum.

After 4 decades of buying new cars (38), my advice on colors .... doesn't matter what color, as long as YOU like it. (who cares what anyone else thinks??) When you walk into your garage every morning, you don't see the engine or suspension, you SEE the color. Outside first, then inside. If either one is a compromise to get a a"deal", you run the risk of a very expensive case of "buyers remorse".

Upgrade to Bang & Olufsen stereo, it's awesome. Also, order a full-size spare to replace that stupid inflation kit. I live in SW Florida now but I'm from Chicago and I would never tool around "The City" without a real spare. Enjoy!!!

Well said and I agree. The more that I think about it, his comment about "hating white" sparked me to think hard; for that I appreciated the comment. Coming from a super rich Med Garnet Red 56 Chevy to white GT may produce that buyer's remorse you speak of. I'm starting to lean on the old-school Grabber Blue, but still not certain. I need to look at some GB builds.

B&O for certain, but hopefully headers and exhaust upgrades in the future will be the preferred "music".

Looking to add a mini-spare.

To all that have responded thus far - I appreciate the input. After selling my "handful" (56), I have a hole in my heart that runs deep. This purchase will be a retirement gift to myself. I will turn 70 in a couple of months and moving to part-time as a transition to full retirement. I don't NEED to work, but I like what I'm doing, so why not just scale it back to 4 hours a day max. It will pay for the GT!

I agree color is 100% subjective and also heavily tied to how u compliment it. I like both colors but when I see a shiny white car, I love the clean, crisp look and I love the contrast with black wheels, buts that me.

Can folks who love their white and grabber blue mustangs, post a few pics? Color is a visual exercise. It’s helpful to see the colors with different accessories…wheels, window tint, louvers, etc.

My GT has PP with magneride.
If it was today I would :
. Save the money of the magneride and put Bielstein B16 pss10 or similar in the aftermarket. More or less the same price, and unlike magneride, you can actually properly tune & lower the suspension. Magneride is frustrating : too soft in normal / sport mode, stiffer in track but you lose the control aids (not possible to mix and match like in a bmw).
. Save the money of the PP and replace the wheels for 275-305/19’ (and the bielstein).
Like that the only important thing missing of the PP are the breaks, if you are not tracking the non PP breaks should be fine.
My car has the black poney package, only ~$500 and to me it makes the car look better. Just my personal taste.

I like the idea. It allows me a lower entry price with the ability to upgrade IF the car seems to beg for it.

This setup allows for a lower ride height? Narrow the wheel well gap?

And what color is your ride? Pics?

I actually like white, white is a good color because of heat, difficult to see swirl marks, easy to maintain. That’s why I bought white - however on the Mustang, it wasn’t until after I bought it I realized it looked like a giant bar of Dove Soap on four wheels.

Look’s anemic, lacks class, needs to be highlighted with black accents or some other color to make it eye catching, otherwise it just disappears. In all reality if you can, pump up to a Dark Horse Premium w/ handling pack in one of the new colors Adriatic Blue or something like that looks amazing… You can plant your ass in a new DH for about $15K more if your loaning that’s about $150 a month more give or take.

All the goodies your slamming into that GT order come stock on a DH and on a GT you will never get your money back on them at least you have a shot at some equity in the DH if you need to sell. Just my thoughts, my experience - I’m Mr. Nobody like the movie, however, I am an older fellow like you
