At times the interior lights do not go on when I open the door. I do the recommended: ignition on, engine off; Bright beams x 5 and brake pedal x 3. I watch for the flashing battery and then drive around . The problem does correct, but only stays corrected for a week. Surely I don't have to do that stuff weekly?

Make sure the with in the overhead is making contact, by switching between its positions. It either off, on (steady) or automatic.

Those are the steps to reset the BMS don’t know how that would make an interior light difference. Something is going on for it to last a week and then revert back. Another Ford mystery

Same issue! I tried the BMS Reset (without driving afterwards) but that did not help. Door sensors work as the door ajar warning is working. Lights work when I flick the switch.
I went to a dealer yesterday and the showroom cars had the switch in the centre, but no lights came on. Service guy was not there but I have asked for a call back. May be they have a special mode?

This is still driving me nuts a bit. Quick question to everybody: Is your light switch illuminated?

I noticed mine is not and I looked at few videos online and it seems to be illuminated. Not 100% from the videos.

Nobody? Is this really just a one off on my car?
I took out the overhead console. Photo of the wiring attached. Didn't look damaged or anything.

It would be great to know on which wire the signal should come when the door is open.

I found a video that suggested to put a fuse on #1 on the passenger side. Did that too but it did no help.

I looked at the BCM config.

726-49-02xxxxxxx*xx--0 =ILCC CABIN2 =ILCC NONLE_COURTESY
1 =ILCC LE_COURTESY3 =ILCC NOTUSED
Mine was set to 1. I tried 0 as well. No change

726-48-01x*xxxxxxxx--0 =DPSC DISABLE_BOTH2 =DPSC ENABLE_DOME
1 =DPSC ENABLE_BOTH3 =DPSC ENABLE_PUDDLE

Tried 1,2,3. No change.

Any feedback would be much appreciated!!!!

'24 Dark Horse US model. No, the light switch is not illuminated. Door open, ignition off, interior light is --ON--.

Nobody? Is this really just a one off on my car?
Yes. And Yes. Respectively.

So for my car, switch in the middle is function we expect, open the door, lights come on.
depress left side, lights off. depress right side, lights on. Hopefully they put a timer on this, 'teens model F series lights could be put to the on position until the battery died.

Have you checked for faults with a scanner or FORSCAN?
Also, if you have a bmw in close proximity, Raptors and Mutangs can get a bit ... temperamental.

Thanks for the feedback.

Checked it with forscan and no faults present. The light themselves work if the switch is pushed to the left or when you press the lenses individually, just not when the door is open.

Door ajar switches work as the dash shows a warning when the door is open.
