What are the defects?
Due to a software issue, the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) may fail to illuminate the visual and audible warnings for seat belt, vehicle speed, fuel level, engine status and other critical safety information.

What are the hazards?
A loss of safety system warnings whilst driving, could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders.

What should consumers do?
Owners will be contacted in writing requesting they contact an authorised Ford dealer to have their vehicle rectified, free of charge.

The latest recall for 2015 to 2018 is misleading and I will have to look into it a bit further. When my VIN is put into the look up it comes up negative but when I do a search in the CSV file list of 24,000 cars it is there. Not worried about it as it only applies to the reverse camera but nevertheless it is disconcerting that the two provided sources can't have consensus.
This anomaly might also occur with other recalls.
