Ford Performance has officially released their Performance Calibrations w/ ProCal4 device for the 2024 Mustang Ecoboost!

You’ll notice a 35HP increase @ 5,550 rpm and 50lb-ft increase @ 3,500 rpm, allowing your car to produce 350hp/400tq.

The calibration not only increases power, but also improves throttle response throughout the rpm range and optimizes the transmission shift schedule. Plus, you have the added benefit of Ford Performance’s 3yr/36k mile warranty from new vehicle in-service date when installed at a Ford dealer or by an ASE/Red Seal certified technician.

It is 50-state legal - CARB EO (D-431-7)

I am not a fan of this. At elevation the EB will have more torque and very close on HP as the GT.
Absolutely amazing what turbos can do.

SAE correct for elevation is something like 2% per 1000ft of elevation. So in the mountains I am down nearly 20% whereas turbo cars do not lose nearly as much if the turbo has some room in its curve. This seems like a no brainer if you have an EB and want to keep warranty.

I installed the FPT on my MY22 Ranger with a 2.3 and the change was pleasantly noticeable.

Any news for the GT?

Sadly as of right now, Ford Performance has no time frame or evidence of a GT FPP Calibration. Hoping this changes though.

It’s SADLY, (and HAPPILY) looking like it’ll be Lund Racing for my Tune. Was hoping to keep it Factory and not worry about my warranty so much.

Mine should hopefully be out for delivery today, will try and install later in the evening. Curious to see how much difference I notice. I wonder if there will be much change in response from sport mode, since I use that mode almost 99% of the time.

Quick initial impressions, it has been pretty nice. Finally got one drive in with it, install was super easy and took like maybe 20 minutes total. If I'm being honest I probably didn't need to do the whole battery tender while flashing but it's a small additional cost to make sure you don't completely ruin your car.

I haven't had a chance to go all out with it, but it seemed a decent bit quicker off the line. I kept it in sport mode, and it felt as if I was in an upgraded track mode. Will need a bit more time with it, I'd say if the dollar amount is too much of an ask for you, you are probably safe holding off for a sale, but if its no object its a nice way to spice up your drive. Will see how I feel after a few more drives.
