So of course after I get the new Mustang home I’ve noticed a few things that need to get fixed that I missed at the dealership.

One of the things confusing me is that the car has no adds, no tint, yet the rear glass looks like it has bubbled tint - but there is no tint?

Does anyone have a clue, or is this normal?

Thanks! Just strange

Haha ok thanks. I’ll go back into my corner now. I’m guessing once I tint the glass I won’t notice it anymore. Never seen it before!

Thanks!

I have them on my Mustang also and I don't have my windows tinted as of yet :)

Every car has the same effect - is only visible at certain angles and is a result of the toughening (or tempering) process. Completely normal.

Try putting on some polarized sunglasses and then look at it for a bit of fun

All our cars come with stock ceramic tint!

every window has this label, including the windshield.

Standard tinted glass is only a slight colour tint (usually green or brown) and not the same as the privacy glass type tint. I don't think there has been a car produced in the last 20 years without tinted glass like this

Yes, but the OP thought the windows had no tint at all.

All new car glass has a small amount of window tint except for those in Arizona.

If you have an S650 then yes you do. The windows are tinted to 70% from the factory.

I only notice it when the light hits it just right, or, in most cases, when I'm wearing my sunglasses. I'm pretty sure it has to do with how the glass is tempered and how light reflects through polarized lenses.
