I do not assume that the original poster spent more of his income/assets as a percentage than I did on this car.

I am not even a millionaire yet. :frown:
In my book it's all relative brother. It's not the hand we're dealt, it's how we play the cards. I'm blue oval to the core. Ford nailed it with these new mustangs. Really well balanced street cruisers. We're all blessed to own one, ha! šŸ˜Ž

Very true. Mustangs weren't meant for everyone to own. If one can't afford a Mustang, the first thing they do is complain that they are priced too high. What they don't do, apparently, is improve their income and buying power. Duh.......

I’m a fan of cool cars, no matter the brand. If they still made the Challenger when I was in a position to buy a new car, I was ready to consider it. Though the Challenger is huge and might not have even fit in the garage.

Love this Mustang and happy I got it!

You could always learn to ride on 2 wheels and get a forced induction hayabusa. You'll run 6s and steal a plaids lunch money.

But ... You will still be on an Eyeabuser. :p Better to give up some time in the race than be seen on an Eyeabuser ;-)

Dodges are big square grocery getters with a big V8 and horsepower. No way those cars can corner decently or last long being made by Stelantis Americans. They also get stolen by people then they total them in police chases. Nope, can't get there from here. I love my NA Mustang too much. Hard to love a square grocery getter.

BTW, Starship, have you ventured into crossing the 2000 mile mark yet? Drive that thing, brother, That's what it's for!! You're about to venture into "garage queen" territory, just sayin' LOL!!! 🤣

Yeah the Challenger doesn’t handle but I loved my Hellcat and Demon. Fast, comfortable and the supercharger whine was fantastic!

It did feel like driving your couch down the road though! LOL.

Yeah 99.9% of cars you buy never hold their value much less increase in value. There are some exceptions like rare Ferrari’s, McLaren F1, etc…
and Gen 2 (19/20) GT350s, 15-20 GT350Rs and 20+ GT500s
GT350R HE cars with super low miles are going for 50K to 60K over sticker still.....

After 3 years and doubling the miles I can sell my car for more than what I paid.....but yeah most of the time only the rare hypercars...... every newer Mustang I have owned previous to this one has gone down in value for sure.....

Ill keep putting miles on mine because I didn't buy it as an investment...I bought it to have fun lol

I had one of the first years, before the speed limiter....most deceivingly fast bike I had ever ridden.

I don't love them but I can understand why people do.

The Camaro ZL1 is the new "most stolen" car!

I still have a '06 ZX14. That bike was super tame, until everyone figured out Kaw. had 2 sets of throttle plates and they didn't open the top set past 10% until over 8k rpms. I pulled mine like everyone else, which is worth 25 foot pounds of torque from about 2000 rpms to +15 of so at about 7k. Not a big deal if you were drag racing, but huge difference in power delivery on the street and coming out of corners.

This iteration of Mustang is super capable, the handling package cars are surprisingly balanced for a Mustang, stick well, stop hard enough knock your glasses off, and just make turns fun.

Even if it leans the wrong way in turns ;-)

Next time you go out for milk, eggs, and bread, go by way of Idaho. Buy some camping gear on the way. You'll enjoy the car....šŸ‘
