I’m not sure if this has anything to do with the recall. When I turn right there will be water dripping on my feet in the footwell.

Happens quite often?

Since the beginning of time. God decreed no convertable my live without leaking. That's why every old muscle car that's a convertible when they restore them they alway have to replace the floor pans. Now that being said I would definitely go to the dealer and have that looked at.

Only when you turn right? Lol

When raining?
After a wash?
Sunny day?

I feel like we need a little more context.

That’s the problem no rhyme or reason. Dry and sunny today. And yes only when I turn right.

I put 47+k miles on my 2022 Ecoboost Premium and never had any water leak into my interior. Rain, downpours, lots of washes, and even a few high pressure washes — no leaks.

That’s odd if it only leaks when turning right. Is your A/C on when this happens? I only ask because I have had some water drips from under the dash on to the floor mats on my 2024 vert randomly on either side. It ended up being the duct work under the dash starts to sweat depending on how hot it is outside and it starts to drip. Not a constant drip but enough to see several drops on my weather tech mats. Wonder if your problem is associated to your A/C system.

I live in Southwest Florida it’s very hot and humid. It is not just a couple of drops though I can feel it hitting my sandals.

Going to the dealer on Friday.

And let us not forget those early (and some late ones too!) sunroofs!

The one in my old Dodge Sport had a drip pan around it. The problem was, the drip pan drain tube was in the rear wheel wells; they were always clogged. After a rain accelerating or stopping caused the water to end up inside the car!

Is it possible your condensate drain is plugged? I've had that on other vehicles in humid climates before. When that occurred over time I found I had to spray the evaporator with an antifungal solution to clean the mold spores that collected on the cooling fins.

Its condensation. Only you Convertible guys have it happening. The outside of the vent plastic is gathering moisture, and then it drips.

Try turning A/C off , bet it doesn't happen.

Not sure why people drive with top down and A/C on anyways , but I've never owned one to try.

The OP lives in hot humid FL, and living there as well, I understand the use of the AC to enjoy top down freedom with a little less oppressing humidity and heat.

Some folks in the far south may think it odd that people in colder climates have the top down, but the side windows up. Having lived years up north, I understand why sometimes that's necessary to enjoy top down freedom.

I wonder if FORD insulates the outside of vent ducting on Verts ? If not , there is the problem.

I definitely run the a/c while driving with the top down when it’s 90+ degrees out here in Atlanta along with the seat ventilation. Help keeps the ride a little more comfortable. I also ride with the heat on when the top is down in the winter time 😎.

I have had a few drops while running AC and top down in SC also stupid hot and even more humid. Let me know what dealer says I am thinking it is AC related and probably need to go to dealer ASAP since I have more than 31,000 miles on her so far.
