I know, all good my dude... when I read it I was like "Did Cobra just 'As per my previous emails' me?!?!?!" but in an "The Office" sorta way ;)As has been said referred to what others said. And you did find yours, good!
I meant the obvious slag/splatter on the face of it, not the very obvious spot where the sticker goes.I actually got the exact same thing; I thought I was part of the exclusive "Invisible Chassis Number Club" where we all kinda owned like Wonder Woman's plane except on wheels.
I agree the book does a nice job presenting all the design differences that the DH has compare to the GT and some of the quotes from engineers that worked on the DH project are cool. I was just little surprised that the USB stick with 227 color pictures did not have white or silver color vehicles in the photo set. Looks like the Blue Ember, Red and Black vehicle colors were the major colors used. Also I was hoping that the DH poster would be smaller size for easier wall framing and not 3 feet wide x 1 foot in height. Yes there is samller 8x10' poster also included so I will frame that. The book is the best part for sure.
Oh, and the manual trans boot is a nice touch for us Tremec owners! Haha
Sorry couldn’t help it
This was the BIGGEST of let downs for me to be honest. I bought a white one to be different from all ya'll that have the Blue Embers... I have not seen a single white DH in my area in the year I've owned the vehicle. Hell I've only seen 3 other DH on the street in that time; 2 of them owned by guys who are part of my local Mustang club and both were Blue Ember.I was just little surprised that the USB stick with 227 color pictures did not have white or silver color vehicles in the photo set.
My car is red so I noticed the red color had the most pictures out of the set of the 227 total. Maybe they did not have all the colors at the time of the photo sessions, but they should have had all the 2024 available colors for the DH in the set. BTW- Since I got the DH back in April 2024 I have only seen three other colors at Mustang car meets during the year. Blue Ember, Black and Vapor Blue. I have yet to see white, silver and grabber blue colors of the vehicle. I see many 21,22,23 year Mach 1 cars and most are the FJG color. This was the BIGGEST of let downs for me to be honest. Best surprises are the ones you don't even know are coming. My kit was over a year, I had to email the request into Ford.I just received mine a month ago or so... one full year after buying the car. Didn't even know I was going to get anything.
You guys are lucky. picked my DH on Jan 12,2024. First time I contacted Eric at Ford performance 6 months ago. I was not on the list. So after proving I did buy and own my DH. He said I was on the list. Have contacted them back 3 times and keep getting the same answer. There a lots of people on the list and should see it in 5 to 7 weeks. I'm not good at math but after six months I should have had it by now. I have just accepted I'm not getting one.Best surprises are the ones you don't even know are coming.
