I called my ins. co. Apparently there are 3 things that can change the rate for an entire policy. Changing one of the cars is one of them. Other two are change of address.....and crap, forget the 3rd thing....lol

OP..... hope it works out for ya....

The Hagerty rate I quoted was for 300k and zero deductible.

I have Hagerty for my '25 GT Convertible at around $1100/year. I also have two other vehicles for my wife and I. Averaging less than 4K miles/year. It mainly goes to Dairy Queen, car shows or a quick romp through out mountains and is garage kept.

You guys who are quoting low insurance premiums (at or below $1000 per year) on your Mustangs need to specify your coverage. Absent that, we can't tell if you're getting a good deal or not.

I'm guessing you have well under $1M in liability coverage along with high deductibles. I just added my 2025 GT Premium to my State Farm auto policy, which is bundled with my other cars and homeowners insurance. My premium for the Mustang is over $2000 per year due to my high coverage limits. With less coverage, my premiums would be a lot lower as well.
I live in a rural area, I'm 50 with a clean driving record and it's full coverage on both.

Yes, many factors. My wife reminded me of the 3rd major factor that can radically change a policy….New Driver.
Of course there's climate change, tariffs, how long you've been with your carrier, and, let's not forget two things, that greed factor, and there is no climate change other than that which has taken place over millions of years that the insurance companies have to factor in. 👍

My insurance rep actually blamed covid for price hikes…LMAO. I guess with trickle down shortages of parts, but jeez, it was 5 years ago. They just look for any excuse to raise rates. I was told to expect things to settle out a bit….yeah…like they never head of tariff wars on steel and electronics…their next excuse.

Oh well, the rates are not exactly outrageous, and I asked for it buying a new car. I was paying $375 a year on my 06 GT! Now I’m $1,100.
